First unit deliverd 5/29/20 evidenced the Stainless steel exterior having unacceptable damage--several (10) ripples in the finish below the glass window. Replacement unit arrived today 7/2/20 and evidenced no damage. Microwave has several cooking functions and operates very quietly. I like that it lights up while operating and can clearly see your dish cooking to avoid any boiling over, etc.

We like the appearance and features of this microwave, particularly the convection oven feature. Its a little hard to clean the interior becuase the front door swings down rather than to the side making it hard to reach all the way in.

We haven't had this very long but, so far, we really like it. We love that it can do microwave and convection cooking. The quick microwave buttons are really helpful as well.

I am still learning because this was just installed yesterday. However, because it is Christmas Eve, I have used both the microwave and the convection oven options for this oven. It is different from my old microwave, but you just need to read the screen to decide what buttons to push. I need to get a couple of round, flat pans to use, but I am really happy to have the second oven in my kitchen.

The oven was installed today and looks good. We will see how it performs. Seems way overpriced for what you get but it was the only match for the oven we picked. Trim pieces are a little cheap looking with some minor flaws that we will live with.

Cooks good, but can only use 15 sec intervals for heating food. Also, hard to get food out of oven when mounted high in cabinets, because the door opens like an oven, instead of from the side. Also, can't figure out how to get the clock to display at at all times.

The microwave looks really nice in the kitchen, it works well, and we like that its a convection oven as well. That said, some things are hard to use. The controls all working with the dial are a little strange to get used to. The fold down door is also a little difficult to use. Since this is mounted above another oven, it is harder for shorter members of our family to get things in and out of it, especially when baking when the door is hot. Also the instructions are not very clear about baking. It says in 1 place to remove the glass plate when baking and in another place it says to never remove it. We baked some tator tots on a rectangular pan and watched the pan bang around inside the microwave the whole time because the plate was rotating under it so we finally called support. They said never remove the plate which means you end up having to use round baking pans for everything. It would be nice if the turntable would stop turning or you could disable it so you could use rectangular pans. That would have been good to know ahead of time.

after 3 years of minimal use the super outrageously expensive microwave is not working. only the convection part works now which who cares. we hardly ever used the convection because it would never cook things correctly (either overdone or undercooked)

We did a complete kitchen make-over with all GE Profile Slate appliances. I am EXTREMELY unhappy with the performance of this microwave/convection oven. After two ruined dinners, I purchased an oven thermometer and found that the convection oven was actually 100 degrees lower than the desired temperature, whether baking or roasting. Repair service was called, came out, ordered parts (which took TWO months to arrive) and the new parts did not fix the problem. Expressing our dissatisfaction to the appliance store, they generously replaced our microwave with a brand new one. Guess what ... the new microwave suffers from the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. It is 100 to 125 degrees less than the selected bake/roast temperature! What a great disappointment after spending an astounding amount of money for this worthless appliance.
