This video contains a brief review of the Hamilton Beach 1.1 cubic feet Microwave. I believe this is the one thousand watt model. This can be found at Walmart for a good deal. Other retailers are going to charge you way more for this unit. While in operation this microwave is a little loud in my opinion. Have not had any problems with it and have almost been using it for a year now.

I happen to love Hamilton Beach products which are made to last, unlike other brand names. Only reason this has a four star is that the front panel words and numbers should be more visible. Hard to read beyond an inch distance. I suggest bright white letters and numbers on a color other than grey which obscures easier visibility. I had to install a strip light above the appliance so my elderly relative could use it. I placed this microwave oven in a recessed corner of the kitchen away from day sunlight. Or make the side panel white so the black letters and numbers are more visible. But grey on black with small size off white, not bright white, letters and numbers does not make practical sense. Size and thickness of time indicators should not be overlooked in the design development.

OMG!! This is by far the best microwave I've owned! My previous one was also a Hamilton Beach and I had it for 6 years before having to replace it (great seeing as thr first was used). Would most definitely recommend this one to anyone. Lots of space inside and perfect wattage for the price.

I'm very satisfied with this unit. However, 2 minor quibbles keep me from giving it an extra star.
1. The kitchen timer reverts to the clock display after a few seconds. To see how much time is remaining you need to press the timer button again. And again. I use my iPhone instead.
2. The defrost function stops halfway through your set time. This is to allow you to flip your food over or stir it. if you don't want to do either, no instructions are given to avoid the halfway stop. I can work around this tt but it's still annoying.

Came damaged, returned to store.
Purchased same model in black color but had to pay almost $20 more than the deal price on white. Poor experience.
Will review the black color product in free days.

After using it for 11 months, it's still ticking. Not bad for low price item. Holds a lot of moisture in and starting to show a little rust in nooks and crannies. I would give 5 stars if there was no sign of rust.

Our old microwave went out and we did not have a lot of money right now to replace it, so we figured we would grab up this cheaper model for now and get something a bit nicer when we can. Now the plan is to just stick with this model. It has a clock on it, which is nice, the controls lock to keep little fingers from playing with it. It manages to get food a consistent temp without taking forever to cook. Overall we are quite satisfied with this purchase. It is also quite roomy, we can fit larger items in to defrost if need be.

For the price of this microwave, it is great! The 1000 watt microwave does everything it says. The only thing I found that was not expected was the size. It is not a small, compact version, rather a larger size.

Microwave was damaged when removed from the box but the box didn't have any damage, so it was packaged that way. Screw had been over tightened on the side denting the side and the top right side was messed up and didn't match up. The microwave works great and is big enough inside to hold my "fudge bowl". I contacted Hamilton Beach and they didn't help.

I saw an ad for this item that said it was on clearance for 15.00 when I got to the store it magically turned to 69.98 and the manager said I was just out of luck I will just start buying from amazon from now on.
