I am so pleased that I waited for the missing manual before using this appliance, otherwise, I never would have known or figured out that the timer controls the power! Over the past two weeks, I have been able to use most of the features of this multi-purpose countertop oven and, overall, have been quite pleased. Both the baking and broiling functions produced excellent results; however, I used the convection as instructed when cooking a frozen pizza and the crust did not crisp up as desired although, otherwise, the pizza was cooked perfectly. I genuinely am looking forward to using the rotisserie and am anticipating a juicy and tasty chicken or roast when I do. This countertop oven is not only attractive but it's versatility makes it a much welcome addition to any kitchen. I especially liked the large capacity and the built-in rotisserie. The control knobs are very easy to use and the included accessories are good quality. The unit itself seems to be sturdy and well-made. I found it to be very easy to use and the instructions were very clear. I also liked that I had the choice of having the unit shut off by itself or have it run continuously. There were only a couple of drawbacks that I found with this unit. The top of the oven gets very hot when in use so you need to take care not to touch it. The other is that it doesn't have an internal light which I find would be helpful. All in all, I find that if you have the space for a large countertop oven then this Hamilton Beach oven is an excellent choice! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I didn't realize this was more of an oven than a simple toaster oven. Couldn't figure out at first how to toast something but realized it worked well on bake. A lot of the parts of the oven get extremely hot to the touch.It does cook pizza and other baked goods very well.The height of it is much higher than I realized. I made a 10# ham that turned out fantastic and it fit in the oven easily! It was so much easier basting the ham while on my island than bending down and using a regular oven. It also heats up much quicker than a regular oven. I used it to make frozen orange chicken pieces and they crisped up nicely in the oven. I can't wait to try making two pizzas at the same time. This oven is so much more roomy than any I have ever owned and easy to read the dials.. Love the roomy large inside, the ease of using the dials and the sleek style. Upon receiving my countertop oven the first thing I noticed was how light it is. That made it easy for me to place on my counter and easy to move when cleaning the counter. I immediately baked a cauliflower crust pizza and it was so quick! The crust was better than in,y conventional oven. I decided to make another cauliflower pizza with the convection setting and it was great. The suggestions in the owner's manual we're spot on for timing. What surprised me most was how easy the oven is to clean. The drippings easily wipe off the drip tray and nothing stuck to the racks! I would highly recommend the countertop oven for any busy cook! I have baked and used the rotisserie in the oven. I am very delighted with the results. I purchased this oven for the rotisserie and it has surpassed my expectations. I like the easy dials and how quiet the convection feature is, but the door slams onto the counter. It should have a mechanism that slowly lowers it to the fully open position. It does stop at about 2 inches, but when you need to open it all the way, don't let it crash. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I received the Hamilton Beach Stainless Countertop Oven with Rotisserie gratis as a Hamilton Beach Ambassador. It is quite large and has 2 shelving pieces along with a rotisserie. The oven exterior gets quite hot. The top button also gets quite hot. You need to use a hot pad holder and hold on to the door when opening. It does not have a ?spring or resistance to keep it from falling down. For the price I believe you get everything you need. If the exterior getting very hot does not bother you this is a very good oven.

I am disappointed with this product. I used it 3 times and found that 1) the top knob becomes extremely too hot and almost burned my fingers. 2) the glass door mechanism slams down and could break, 3) the top and sides also become extremely hot, and finally 4) it is difficult to get the smaller tray out of the oven i had to use a fork to pull the rack toward me.
