Tortilla Press does not flatten masa dough evenly when trying to obtain a thin tortilla. If you press "hard" result is oblong with a thin smear on one side. If you desire a small, extremely lightweight press that makes thick small tortillas, this press is fine. The press is 6" wide. Press dough between pieces of heavy clear plastic (e.g. heavy bread bag). Very easy to peel the dough off plastic onto griddle. I needed a second press, but prefer my traditional 8" cast iron version.

To rate this product right now would be silly cause have not used yet. Though it appears to be sturdy enough to do the job quite well.
