It's perfect for what I needed. There are 3 of us in my family and it's size works. Good quality product!

This low priced slicer is great for our home use. We use this slicer to perfectly slice 1/2" thick homemade white bread, paper thin potatoes for au gratin, paper thin for fresh potatoes chips, jerky, ham, vegetables, cheese, it`s use is endless. Clean up is easy. We have wanted this type of slicer for quite a while and we are very pleased.

It worked great! I have only used it to cut chunk cheese but it cut like butter with just a few crumbs that fell behind the slicer. The slider mechanism was very smooth and came off for easy cleaning. The cord was heavy duty and the suction cups which I wet with water held so firm I had to use a butter knife to release it off the counter.
