I bought this mixer a week ago and we used it already 4 times to prepare some French baguette and a Mediterranean bread..and the results are amazing. There is just a little problem when mixing a large volume and more solid dough the head of the mixer starts de move up and down and very noisy too!(it does not lock very well!!!) I'm a mom of three and I love to cook and bake from scratch so I will be using this piece often. I love the bright shiny red color and stainless steel bowl. I found it very easy to use, the detachable mixing arms are very easy to switch out. It came with detailed instructions explaining what each mixing arm is commonly used for which came in handy. The one feature that I really loved was that it had a rubber non slip base, even if you try to push it, it won't budge, it won't move unless you lift it up to move it. Easy to use and easy to clean. This item is a must for the kitchen. Not only for baking anymore! With all the attachments now available this is like a Swiss army knife in the kitchen. The engineering and build of these units is incredible. You would have to throw it off a building to do any damage. Reliability is very important and our older KitchenAid NEVER had issues. These are made to be used. What I like about this newer unit is the attachments that come with it have a smooth coating on them that allows for easy cleaning without seeming like there's a residue left behind. This product has definitely elevated my kitchen to a different level. The bright red and stainless finish is simply amazing and a piece of art. In terms of function, it beats any of the other closed mixing/kneading products I have used before. It is very simple to use with not many parts and buttons. It is much quieter and easy to clean. The parts are really sturdy and I am sure this will last for a long time. I have gotten compliments from most of my guests who have visited my kitchen. If you're in the market for a mixer of many different coats look no further. KitchenAid celebrates its' 100 year anniversary this year with this retro K series. The color is very sleek and brings you back to great grandma's kitchen as if you could almost smell the chocolate chip cookies. The mixer is well built and sturdy so you don't have to worry about knocking it off the kitchen counter. One thing I absolutely adore is the locking mechanism for the mixing bowl aka no more having to make sure the bowl is aligned properly otherwise it'll fall over. The bowl can be taken off the mixer and sit flush onto the kitchen counter. The kitchen aide comes with a splatter guard, a dough hook, a flat beater, and a wire whip. This bad boy has 10 different speed settings. One thing that I'm extremely excited about is the amount of accessories this mixer has to offer from noodle makers, hamburger grinders, spiralizers, and even ravioli makers! Couldn't be happier. This stand mixer is powerful and easy to use. The ability to add attachments is a great bonus that makes this one of the most flexible tools to have in the kitchen. I've already made several recipes with the help of the KitchenAid, and the results have been terrific. I've wanted one these for years and finally got this one it's absolutely beautiful!! It has 10 speeds,and I had no idea there were 14 different attachments available for it!! That makes it so much more than just a mixer!! The design is phenomenal. With the tilting head for easy bowl access and the pouring shield this is just a wonderful addition to my kitchen I'm super thrilled to have found it in this beautiful red color with chrome accents match a variety of kitchen decor and will last for many many years!
