I bought this about a month ago and could not be happier. I bake a few times a week and this has made my life so much easier - I didn't know what I was missing until now! I was gifted the 3-piece pasta attachment after I bought this and making pasta without the hand kneading is a game changer! The only negative feedback is that the fettuccini cutter has a chip in it so I haven't been able to use that yet. I reached out - sent an email through the kitchenaid site - but haven't heard back yet about how to get a replacement or what the process is because it was a gift. Received this KitchenAid Stand Mixer for Mother's Day from my kids after years of wishful thinking. Yes, I have great kids! They wisely chose the vibrant red, my favorite color. I absolutely love the ease with which I can whip up a plate of cookies or whip up meringue and whipping cream to top my coconut cream and fruit pies. I created a prominent place on my counter with plenty of room for mise en place, my scale, and a new cookbook holder. The beautiful hum fills my kitchen almost on a daily basis as I work through favorite cookie recipes that my kids and their friends have picked out.
