Love the size, and it is very easy to use. Heats evenly, we can finally have well done not burned popcorn for family movie night. The only inconvenience is that there is no light when you open the door, but it doesn't affect functionality so no complaints.

there is no light inside this unit so that is odd. it does sound like jet engine but the noise doesn't bother me. we love magic chef brand and prior to this we had a beautiful white model and that was the best we ever had. we moved and had to leave it behind. I wish I could have taken it with me.

Shipping Was Very Fast And Free, But The Rear Bottom Received Minor Damage. From The Bang That The Delivery Guy Created When He Threw It On My Porch And The Condition Of The Box, Some Damage Was Anticipated. So Far The Microwave Has Shown No Evidence Of Functional Problems. Bigger And More Powerful Than our Old Microwave, Price Was Right, Delivery Was Free. Good As It Gets!!

It's rather noisy. Also, it would be helpful if the light would come on when the door is open rather then only when the oven is running. Worst of all, it GREATLY interferes with about seven of my broadcast TV channels - this I particularly hate. Otherwise, the product is good for cooking and reheating food. My previous Microwave oven I also purchased from walmart.com and it too was a bomb. My future purchases of microwave ovens will not be from walmart.com.

We purchased this as a gift for our daughter. The interior capacity is very nice. One of the selling features was the child lock which will keep the 4-year old from being curious with her toys, etc. It appears to work very well and Magic Chef is a brand we've always been comfortable with for quality, longevity and affordability.

First, it is the noisiest microwave that I have ever owned. At any given time and depending upon the setting used, it is so loud that it sounds like it is going to take flight. It's humming of the up and down frequency during use is disturbing to say the least. You can be sitting two rooms away ad hear it running. Second, the door, while solid, is clunky, and you have to give it a harder push to close it than the average microwave. And third and the huge deal breaker for me is that when you open the microwave door the light does not come on for you. The only time the light is operational is when the actual unit is in use - not before and not after - only during. Who engineered this thing and how did it make it out of development is my question? Magic Chef.... you blew this one.
