don't spend double the money to get something that's dead 3 years later...may2017- 7/8/20...makes a popping sound and doesn't heat...1 year warranty through samsung which is convenient because it takes a little longer to go out...wish i would have done kenmore which was originally in my home...kenmore ran fine for 20 years until range died and i replaced all appliances to match everything even though nothing but range was broken...thought it would be another 20 years before i had to replace again but that's what i get for thinking...biggest mistake of my life...still outrageously priced 3 years after i purchased mine...wish i could return it and get a more proven reliable brand...still looks brand new never even used all features just regular microwave setting...

i haven't had any issues with the since we bought it. was actually shocked to read all the bad reviews for the control buttons. it has been almost three years and no complaints.

we had it for a couple of years it just died. i would have expected for a premium product to have a longer operational life. cost a furtune to repair.

I replaced a eariler model of the Samsung Convenction Micowave with this new model in March 2016. Love the features, the convection, and the fast and easy to use Microwave. In fact, I purchased a second unit for my cottage last year. Now, that my unit is exactly 2 years old, the microwave stopped heating. Convection still works, but no microwave. I'll likely purchase a replacement unit, vs. paying for the repair. This time I'll buy the extended warranty, which I normally do not do. It is a shame that such a great company as Samsung can't make a unit that lasts more than 2 years.

Initial thoughts is this appears to be a great microwave. Installation was a little awkward as this was a replacement so getting this in place over an existing range was a challenge as the microwave is a little heavy. Instructions were very clear though and templates helped greatly. Used the microwave a few times and very happy with the results. Menus are a little complicated and I can see I will need to keep the supplied quick guide handy and close.

I've had this installed for a few days. So far: Can not beat this product for the price. It looks great, works great. The fan is much stronger that the microwave that I replaced with this model. We have used the convection oven a couple time, nice feature! I found it pretty easy to install above the range with an out the back exhaust. Took me about 45 minutes with the easy to follow instructions. Hoping for many years of happy experiences.
