do not buy this coffee maker . it is junk !!!! it does not get hot . stops brewing with water still in it so next time it overflows , coffee grounds leak into the pot every time i tried to brew 12 cups . i am happy that it did not catch fire . 3 weeks of problems and it went into the trash . get a black and decker or drink tea .

This is the 4th coffee maker of this model or the one preceding it. They make good coffee and seem to last a couple of years.

Purchase this as a replacement for the exact model that I purchased over seven years ago the quality of this new unit has diminished from the previous unit.

I had this same unit for several years and it started to leak water out of the base. Couldn't see where it was coming from so it was time to reorder this item again. This item serves my needs and does what it's supposed to do. I like MrCoffee products.

Love it U can choose if you want your coffee mild or strong. Just the right size if you don't have much space. My coffee tastes pretty good also. Thanks

This coffee maker decided he will no longer brew 10 cups of coffee like he has been every morning for 6 months. The mr coffee programmable black coffee maker has power you hear the click after pressing the button but you come back 5 min later to get a cup of that delicious hot joe and nothing lights are on showing brewing but nothing. Not even a drop has hit the bottom of that lonely 12 cup Brewing container. At this point you realized you may not get that liquid energy that makes you super dad. Also I checked the date oh thank God not the first of the month. So now I’ll prob go down to the local Walmart where I blew close to 60 bucks and try to negotiate a trade for another one without me having a box or receipt. I’ll do this every 6 months if I truly have to. People may say it’s just 60 dollars well it’s my 60 dollars Walmart. I work hard for my money and it means something to me. You may want to get a product that isn’t junk.

This coffee maker turned out to be much nicer than one in store that had been marked same price. Makes a delicious cup of coffee and so easy to set it to have that hot cup ready when you get up. No waiting around for it to make. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great coffee at a reasonable price. Makes as good a cup of coffee as the high priced one that just went out. We’ll see if it last as long.

I bought this after Consumer Reports gave it a good review a few years ago. Right from the start i noticed when i checked the temp of the coffee, it was too low for proper brewing. Maybe it was just the one i bought and may be fine for people who don't add liquid creamer to their coffee like me. Another problem is that the filter gets clogged and no amount of cleaning with Brew Rite and a brush will unclog it so you'll need to buy a backup filter. Mine overflowed and dumped grounds into the water basin clogging the inlet. When you go to clean the outside the white letters rub off making it unreadable. Print above buttons are small and hard to read and settings are confusing to use timer.
