Mr. Coffee (BVMC-KNX23) 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker Reviews

As an avid coffee drinker in her 30s, who has experienced the woes of the expensive vs cheap coffee makers, I decided to purchase this pot with the 2 year protection plan.....the pot stopped functioning 11 months after purchase (see photo below). Apparently, this is covered under the manufacture warranty. Keep your receipt!!!! I'll update if Mr. Coffee replaces the pot under the manufacture warranty, otherwise, I'll wait until I hit the 1 year mark in a few weeks and file a case under the protection plan. I've been disappointed time and time again with coffee pots, so will continue to not invest too much money into them, enjoy them while they last, and purchase protection plans!

I bought this coffee maker 2 1/2 weeks ago. Ive only used it maybe 4-5 times. The water spray nozzle that spray's over the coffee, the tip fell off and was in the coffee grounds. I tried dealing with that but then, this morning i got up to make coffee and the front plastic frame had melted and the face was broken and the buttons didnt work. Please dont waste your money on such junk!

The Mr coffee maker works great and I can use it to reheat my coffee in the pot if the coffee maker turns off and i have a cup or two of coffee left in the coffee pot and I love the red color on it matches some of my cookware

Second one that has failed in past 9 months. Both stopped transfer water from resevere to the filter. Maybe a gasket failure allowing it to suck air. I wont buy another one. 2 in a row with same priblem has to be a production issue.

To my shock and dismay, my old Mr. Coffee did not brew my coffee automatically, so when "he died unexpectedly", I had to resort to instant (blah) for a couple of days. Found this new and improved brewer and ordered. Received within 3 days! Love the same features I was used to with the other brewer, but this one beeps when coffee is done brewing, very good feature since I have a tendancy to sit watching TV and forget to check on coffee status. Easy to use auto brew cycle so coffee is ready when we get up, and I don't need to remember to shut it off, it shuts off automatically . Very happy with delivery time, it got here faster than predicted. Also the price did not break the bank! I just needed a coffee maker, not a new brain!

I purchase of coffee pot about 2 months ago and up until this past week it worked fantastic. Now anytime I brew coffee water pours from the holes in the bottom of the coffee pot. I did notice the water was warm when it comes out so I have a feeling that there is a hole in the tubing. Just a warning to others who may find their counter covered in water, unplug your pot.

I love the coffee maker because I can control the option to where I can make it stronger love it so much thank u for letting me sample it.. I would love to try other product Mr coffee has to offer... but I use it mostly everyday [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I just bought my new Mr. Coffee because my old one went out, which was also a Mr. Coffee. I buy no other coffee makers but this one . Mr. coffee supplies me with just the right amounts of coffee that i need and i can program it to start even before i wake up in the morning. its also easy to clean and load. If you dont have a Mr. Coffee to brew your java, then youre missing out.

I absolutely love coffee and have been a starbucks Gold member since the loyalty program actually launched. My coffee spending has been a minimum of multiple hundred dollars per month, often involving more than 5 coffee purchases a day. As you can imagine, the cost was enormous! One thing I also hated is that coffee being one of the highest pesticide containing products, I could not control receiving an organic one during any one of my visits. DESIGN: This coffee machine really solves all your problems if you are predominantly a drip coffee fan. The machine is a solid design and a really good quality, especially considering how affordable it's priced. The design is perfect for any modern kitchen and the stainless steel addition makes a very clean and sharp look overall. The bottom of the machine has four silicone "grabbers" that are perfect for creating anti-slip placements as well as for protecting your countertops. CLEANING: The machine is incredibly easy to clean as well. The machine itself is not dishwasher safe, just as with any electronic, but the coffee carafe can easily placed in the dishwasher. The top lid opens far enough for you to have easy access to the interior if you're washing by hand as well. The filter compartment is also super easy to clean. CARAFE: The glass carafe so far has given no problems whatsoever regardless of how hot the water got. No cracks or breaks. I also love that it's glass because glass is ultimately the safest of all materials currently on the market. I also love having the transparency of being able to have full visibility into your coffee container. TRUST/RELIABILITY: I have used over a dozen coffee machines over the years and decide to purchase this simpler one for my vacation home. The reason why I opted for Mr. Coffee is because any of their machines I have previously used, I have never had any issues with any of them. I never even needed to contact their customers service which is ultimately what I would love with any of my appliance purchases. COFFEE VERSATILITY: This is a coffee machine that does use a filter but that also means that unlike the Nespresso and Keurig coffee machines where all your coffee is preselected for you, you have truly full control and power over the coffee flavors and varieties you use with this machine. This is something I never appreciated in the basic models but after using the Nespresso and Keurig, I would go with this 100% of the time. You can purchase any and all of your favorite organic coffees and mix and match as you please. UPGRADED FUNCTIONS ON TRADITIONAL COFFEE MAKERS: Pause: This has a pause button which I have used a couple of times already and it honestly has been super practical when running around after a toddler. When something comes up or you have to detract your attention, the pause button is quite handy. Strong Brew Selector: It also has a Strong Brew selector which is perfect for households like mine where I prefer milder less bold flavors, and my husband prefers the boldest possible. Just select the strength of your brew, and voila! Auto Shut Off: It automatically shuts off as well (after two hours of nonuse) which is great for people like my husband whom I usually have to chase after turning off all the lights and appliances he leaves on (he thankfully doesn't have dementia, but is completely absent minded given his hectic work schedule). This is perfect also for those who forget to turn off appliances after themselves for safety and cost saving. Delay Timer: It's a neat feature I use when I need a fresh cup of joe when waking up In the morning without having to remember to start it when half asleep. Overall this is an amazing upgrade to the traditional coffee machines and the features make this the perfect companion to any household with coffee lovers! I really felt the need to write this review because the reviews that are currently posted for this coffee maker are not fair! This is a great coffee maker! Works perfectly and I haven't had a problem with it. It also looks great on the counter! Lots of people have rated this coffee maker low because you cannot turn the warming plate back on after it shuts off. That is unfair because no where in the description does Mr. Coffee claim that to be a feature for this coffee maker! With that being said, I would recommend this coffee maker 100%. It makes great coffee, it's quick and it's a lot quieter than other coffee makers I have owned. Also, it is very easy to set the time for a delayed brew! For $20, I don't think you can go wrong with this coffee maker!
