I cannot begin to tell you how much I love my Instant Cooker! It is my favorite cooking appliance. You can make anything and everything in it. And it takes less than half the time. In some cases it takes less than a quarter of the time. You know that old joke about not taking the meat out of the freezer before your Mom got home. That's a thing of thing of the past. Just throw that frozen junk of beef in the Instant Cooker and set the time and before you know it, dinner is served. The best part is Google is right there for you if you need a recipe. I've pulled some beef from the fridge with no idea what to do with it. Google tells me I can cube the beef, saute it right in the instant pot. Cook it in less than 30 minutes then add cream of mushroom soup and egg noodles. Finish it off with some sour cream and I've got beef stroganoff on the table within the hour. I love this Instant Cooker! I've cooked meats, veggies and desserts of all kinds. Also the easiest mashed potatoes that didn't come out of a box. My Thai chicken soup is killer!

This "Ninja Instant Cooker PC100" Instant Cooker has become an everyday used item at my home. It allows you to, sear and saute', Pressure cook, Slow cook, and steam. I allows you saute' up some veggies, then pressure cook the veggies with the meat to make a one pot meal. After that you can steam your larger vegetables and serve up super. Awesome. Everything cleans up real easy too. The Ninja Instant cooker is well made and durable as well A bunch of recipes to help make just about anything quickly and safely. The control nob on top allows you to vent of steam with just a turn of it. The instructions are easy to read and understand. Highly recommend this product.

First off, I want to say that I have NEVER owned an instant cooker. When I chose this product, I thought it was going to be similar to the Instant Pot that everyone has been talking so much about. Although they are similar, I feel like they are also different in their own aspects. This product reminds me of the pressure cooker my mother had growing up and that alone was extremely intimidating to me. My mother had a pressure cooker in the 90's and I vividly remember her telling me not to get near it and the pressure cooker she had made loud noises. As a young child, I was terrified of the thing. Obviously, technology has come a long way since then, but it still took me a day or so to get up the courage to try this product. The first thing I cooked was a bag of unsoaked pintos. Usually whenever I make pintos, I have to let them soak overnight and I usually cook them in the crockpot which usually takes about 8+ hours of cooking. This time, I placed the unsoaked pintos into the Ninja Instant Cooker, filled with water and seasoned as I usually do. I set the pressure and cooked them for 30 minutes (not really knowing how long to set it for). It took a little bit for the pressure to build, but once it started cooking, it seemed like in no time it was done. I released the pressure which was a bit loud, but nothing compared to the one my mother had. I checked the pintos and they were already somewhat tender, but not to where I liked them. So, I installed the lid again and cooked them for an additional 10 minutes. They were perfect when they came out. I saved so much time in cooking them and I couldn't be more happy with the way they turned out. This product comes with a booklet that includes 10 recipes, but I've been finding myself "googling" Instant Cooker recipes. I have already made a few "family favorites" and the best thing is, it takes no time to prepare meals in this instant cooker, which makes me happy. Now to describe what this product does, along with the pros and cons that I've experienced thus far. It pressure cooks, steams, slow cooks and sear/saute's a huge variety of foods (meats, vegetables, grains, legumes). There is a cooking chart included that gives you an idea of how long to cook each item. I will say that the lid is rather difficult to line up from time to time, but once I get everything lined up, it turns effortlessly into place. I LOVE how the cooking pot is dishwasher safe and it makes cleanup a breeze. My absolute favorite thing is how quickly it cooks. I make meals that used to take me all day in a matter of 30-45 minutes. Even though I was skeptical about using this product, I have no had any issues thus far and I look forward to learning more about it and making meals to try along the way.

The product arrived in perfect condition i ordered the Ninja Instant Cooker PC 100 and it just about has everything you could want in a small kitchen appliance i use the pressure cooker more than any thing else but knowing that you have all these appliances in one makes for a perfect unit in my kitchen i am trying to get good at one of the combos at a time and the pressure cooker is so easy to use and is so quick that it is a favorite it did not take me long to get over being nervous about using a pressure cooker i just followed the instruction booklet and played it safe and before long i was not shaking any more and now i am pretty comfortable using it but i admit the first time i did leave the kitchen until it was through but the second time i was alright with it and not to worried and did not pay any attention to the machine being used so i think i am over my fear of pressure cookers and love having this new addition to my kitchen after getting it all clean for my first use i made beef tips and gravy and worked so well the next night i made some stew (trying to keep the meals simple) and when the time was up i forgot to push the stop button and reached over and turned the release valve open and had quit a mess stew juice and steam spewing every where i closed the valve and pushed the stop button and released the stem cleaned up what i could and added the rest of my ingredients and finished cooking supper although that was messy it turned out great tasting and the clean up was not bad at all the lid is hand washable and the anti-clog cap is very easy to remove just squeeze and pull straight up and it comes right off the silicone ring comes out easy i would not just yank it out but it does come out easy and is dishwasher safe but i prefer hand washing and that goes for any part that comes off for cleaning on any of these types of cookers the pot is ceramic coated and there was no sticking in this pot the slow cooker is programmable for up to twelve hours with the temperature from low medium and high i have not used the slow cooker as of yet because i really do want to get good and use to the pressure cooker first and when the cooking time is over it starts a count of the time it is keeping the food warm it has a simmer a steamer with a stainless steel steamer rack a saute and the sear feature which is one of my favorite things about this cooker the pot will hold a five pound with out any trouble the booklet has about ten recipes cooking charts for the pressure cooker and the steamer this cooker comes with a twelve month limited warranty you will not be disappointed with this Ninja Instant Cooker.

I received this item free of charge to write an honest review. I had been hearing about Instapots for a few months now, but have never owned one. The closest thing I owned to one would be my pressure cooker. The kind you put on the stove with a weight on top. It took me many months to get used to that pressure cooker because I was always scared of how much pressure should be coming out, was enough pressure out to open the lid, etc. They can be extremely dangerous. Much to my surprise, this One-Pot-Does-All Ninja Instant Cooker is very easy and safe to use. You do need to read the manual thoroughly because it lets you know tips, tricks, and the do's and don'ts of this cooker. The "old" way of me cooking a roast would be to sear it on all 4 sides in a pan then transfer it to the crock pot and add veggies, etc. The NEW way for me is to use this Instant Cooker to SAUTE my vegetables, then SEAR the meat, then PRESSURE COOK all the ingredients into a delicious roast with potatoes, carrots, and celery with a gravy to die for! The cook time was phenomenal!! What would have taken me 3-4 hours before took only 1 1/2 hours. The roast was tender enough to cut with a fork. It was falling apart and that gravy soaked up all those roasted brown bits, flavors from the seasonings and vegetables. I will never be scared of pressure cooking again! This also works as a regular "crock" pot as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! This thing is awesome!

I got this Shark Ninja Instant Pot recently. First of all, Shark Ninja is definitely a well-known brand and you could also say that it is trustworthy. I've wanted to have an Instant Pot for a while now. The Shark Ninja did not disappoint me. I love this appliance. I know there are a lot of other instant pots out there and they tout to be 7 or 8 in one, but I'm glad I got the Shark Ninja one. It can be used as a pressure cooker, a slow cooker and a steamer. It also has sear/saute and keep warm settings. It comes with a removable pot/crock (I hesitate to call it a crock as it is not stoneware) that is, I think coated metal. It also comes with a little steamer rack with handles. This appliance is heavy and sturdy. The lid has a small vent that can be open or closed, even though I've only seen in the instructions that you should always leave it open. It has a fuse, which you would find with any pressure cooker. It is fully digital and, obviously, versatile. The handles have an opening on both sides to rest the lid in! My first use was to make a pot roast and because we were busy, I used it as a slow cooker. The roast was so moist and cooked completely that it was sort of falling apart when I lifted it out. We didn't need a knife to cut that, lol. Absolutely, positively highly recommend this instant pot to anyone! Love you Shark Ninja!

I was so excited to get this but so disappointed when I opened it. The strong chemical smell was making me sick,I had to put it back in the box. I tried to look up what the cooker and inside pan is made of but it just said non stick ceramic but I want to know what is used to make it non stick. This is bigger than I expected and heavier than I expected. I looked over the recipes that were included and it's only a few. I tried to look online at Ninja for more recipes but found none. I read the instructions and I was surprised about all the warnings and there is warning stickers on the cooker as well. I do not feel comfortable cooking my food in the cooker that reekes of chemicals plus I do not know what is in the non stick coating.

I love the Ninja PC100 Instant Cooker for the following reasons. It is so versatile. It performs the functions of several other appliances that you may have had cluttering-up your kitchen. Functions include pressure cook, steam cook, slow cook and sear/sauté! You can steam vegetables, cook rice, sear meat, pressure cook pulled pork, make soup, make chili, bake a cake and much more! The capacity of the pot is 6 courts. It has 5 temperature settings, includes a steaming rack and comes with a 12-month warranty. The locking lid is great for making chili at home and then transporting it to your tailgating party our office get together the next day. Once there, you can use the keep warm setting to heat it back up before serving. Included are the Owner's Guide and Quick Start Guide which includes 10 recipes and cooking chart. Our first test meal was the simple pulled pork from the Quick Start Guide. This recipe uses the pressure-cooking setting. It was a tasty success in time for Saturday college football! I did notice a contradiction in start-up instructions between the Familiarizing yourself with pressure cooking (Owner's Guide) and the pressure-cooking instructions found on a tag attached to the lid. Follow the instructions from the tag on the lid when using this for the first time. I would also recommend a instant cooker recipe book as a source for additional uses for this cooker. The Ninja Instant cooker is conducive to your style of living whether you need to prepare a hot meal in a short period of time, or you have all day to slow cook a favorite meal. Pressure cooking is 2-3 times faster than stovetop cooking and using this efficient electrical source is echo friendly.

This Ninja Instant Cooker is not just a pressure cooker or a steamer, it is also a slow cooker with lots of options to make your mealtime cooking easy. I've never used a pressure cooker or steamer before but this one is really easy to use with detailed instructions on how to achieve the correct cook time for the meal you want with little to no effort. The appearance of this instant cooker would blend well in most kitchens. It is the black and stainless combo that you can leave out on your countertop because of it's sleek and modern design. This PC100 series has a 6-quart capacity and can hold up to a 5-pound roast. The cooking functions include Sear/Saute' for things like meats that you want a little color on the outside. There is the pressure cooking function for things like chicken, meats, vegetables, rice, and potatoes. There are two different pressure cooking settings depending on what you want to steam and the amount of time you want to steam them. The low and medium-low will steam for about 4 hours and medium and high-medium will steam for about one hour. Then there is the slow cooker function for things like stew and sauces that you would normally do in a crockpot which can be programmed for up to 12 hours. This function will also allow you to keep food warm or simmer. There is a very informative user guide and a Quick Start Guide with 10 recipes and cooking charts for each function. This Ninja Instant Cooker is programmable with just a touch of the button. Cooking with this instant cooker is time saving and with the lift out pot, clean-up is a breeze.

The Ninja Istant Cooker is a wonderful addition to my kitchen, okay it takes the place of a pressure cooker, steamer and crockpot so it's a space saver it is beautiful to look at and easy to use and works beautifully I love it so much, I am a Ninja fan and this didn't disappoint, it came with some good recipes and it is easy to clean, this is worth the price and as I said it does the work of three appliances so you are saving room and by only needing to buy one your also saving money, Christmas is coming up and it would make a great gift.
