I’ve had this a few months, received as a gift. The base of the short food processor bowl has broken. The plastic cracked near each of the screws causing the gear part to separate! I have no idea why this would happen. I had put it away after the last use and it fell apart when I picked it up to use it today.

After only three uses the food processing bowl drive motor cracked at the base of the bowl and fell out. This happened after three uses but after the one year manufacturers warranty expired, so I am stuck with a broken piece of equipment. The manufacturer told me I needed to purchase a new bowl for $64.95 or they would sell me a new machine at a discount, but it would only be warrantied for 90 days. I've posted this review on several websites and come to find that this is a common problem without even having to scroll down in the reviews very far.

I bought this blender so I could make my own almond milk (the store-bought stuff has all kinds of weird gums, etc., in it and I wanted pure). It's amazing! The powerful motor does a fantastic job of grinding up the almonds (water added, of course). I also use it to make smoothies for breakfast, and it does a great job of that, too -- bonus is that I don't have to use/clean the big jar for those since it comes with two personal-sized jars that are just the right size and fit in the top rack of the dishwasher like any ol' cup. I'm planning to make my own peanut butter now, too. And really, there are tons of things I want to try now that I've got this blender. Also, every bit of it is dishwasher safe, and the big jar and processor bowl can go in the bottom rack of the dishwasher. I love it!

Very powerful, frozen fruit smoothies are no problem. Love the solid bottom construction of the blender pitcher, no more leaks in the fridge.

I'm loving my new Ninja. Both the food processor and the large blender work beautifully. Made fresh strawberry smoothies and mmmmmm. All good. As many reviews on line indicate, it is very loud but goes through ice like nothing. I have not tried the individual cups yet.

We just started the whole Juicing Thing and decided to try this unit because of its 1500 watt motor and reasonable price. Its seems to be a very durable machine and quickly turns everything into a fine drinkable puree. We Love the bullet cups although I don't like the cup lids. The lids have openings to drink from but don't seal shut so not good for packing in a lunch. We had to purchase other sealable mugs for our lunches. Other than that - We Love it.

Used it for smoothies, great so far. really does an excellent job crushing ice for a thick slushy drink with no ice chunks.
