I had an old Stir Crazy that lasted forever and wanted to be sure I had another good replacement. This one cooks them better, quicker and just as well as the old model. So far so good!

I got this as a Christmas gift. Very disappointed with it. I've used it twice now and both times the popcorn is tough and chewy. It's a shore to clean up. I would not recommend buying one of these.

Bought this as a Christmas gift to replace an old popcorn maker. I went for this more expensive model because of the advertised better butter melting tray... IT IS TERRIBLE. The extra steam release vents cause the cap to warp from the heat and then the butter and oil end up all over the outside of the bowl when it is flipped over to be used. NOT GOOD IF YOU WANT TO HOLD THE BOWL ON YOUR LAP. It makes great popcorn but it's not worth the mess!
