I searched percolator coffee pots and this product came up in the search. I looked at many, and not all of them showed pics of the inside piece, same as this one, so I didn't think much of it and ordered. When the coffee pot arrived, there is no percolater insert at all. Now I have a coffee pot I can't use because who wants to boils coffee directly in the pot with water? Not me. Now I have the pain to return it, or else spend another $8 for a percolator insert that "hopefully" would fit. Not happy with this purchase. If you are looking for a big empty pot than it would be great

Great coffee "tea" pot. Well made and holds a lot. This is second one I've bought. One for my house and camping...and one at my girlfriends house many miles away. Cheap enough...don't have to pack it back and forth.

Best cup of coffee I have ever had. Makes coffee the way it was intended to. Check out youtube with cowboy Rollins on this subject. Will use this at home as well as camping. Perfect size for 1 to 4 people

I love boiled coffee! It's the only way to go. I have used this on our electric stove but I DON'T put it on high, just a little less. It has been too cold to cook outside on my fire pit but I can't wait. I think I'll have to brave the cold to see if holds up. At this point, I have no doubt. I am very satisfied with the boiler's performance, so far. I did one modification though. I took off the little silver clasp that holds the cover onto the pot. It cleans easier and I get most, if not all, the used coffee grounds out better. Other than that...BOIL AWAY!

I bought threw Walmart from 3rd party seller. Thank God they had a good return policy. I started getting pin hole leaks threw every seam on this pot after 1st use. Must not be made like they used to.

Used it over open fire while camping twice and twice over a butane stove. The wind knocked it over to the ground from a table twice; it is still in one piece. The lid came "undone" both times when it fell, the aluminum flaps that help hold it against the handle are very "soft" metal. I used wet sand from the lake shore to rinse the soot away from the open fire. So far it's doing ok. I'd like a few more camping trips to really evaluate how sturdy it is, but it survived our first camping trip so far. It's a good size for our need.

Bought this pot to make cowboy coffee, the smoothest cup of coffee ever - if you do it right! Perfect size.

On the electric coils, it made some weird sounds, but nothing to fear. Water boils nicely, quickly. Good for those that dare get those delicious oils (though make sure you don't boil the coffee). Just make sure apart to get a little sieve-thing, if you wanted to get the grounds off more. But I wouldn't fear no grounds. Good day.
