Cuisinart (DCC-1150BK) 10-Cup Programmable Thermal Coffeemaker Customer Reviews
I am very pleased with my Cuisinart DCC-1100 coffeemaker. I makes perfect coffee every time, it's easy to clean and it fits nicely on my kitchen counter. I have always used Cusinart products and I have always found them to be of high-quality and last a long time. They are well worth the few extra dollars I spent on them. I would buy again and again.

It's a very smart innovative look and easy programming. However, carafe does not keep the the coffee hot. All else is great!

Pretty nice coffee maker, simple to operate makes coffee fast. Easy to clean. I like them, this is the second one I have purchased the first one wore out due to a faulty electrical outlet in my home.

I am very disappointed in the product. I thought the stainless pot would keep the coffee hot for several hours. It did not and there is no heat source under it. So now after 45 minutes or so I have to microwave the coffee. I am not happy.

After 1 1/2 years, still a Wonderful coffee maker. This Cuisinart is better than the comparable Mr Coffee thermal maker. The coffee stays warmer longer and brews faster. There's no bitterness after several hours unlike the glass carafes. Very satisfied with this machine.

This was the 3rd Cuisinart coffee pot we have purchased over the years. We thought the thermal pot would keep the coffee hotter but once it's done brewing it shuts off and there is no way to turn it back on. It would have been nice if they could have stated that fact on the box so you would know before purchasing it. The coffee isn't hot enough when done brewing either. It's back in the box sitting on a shelf!

It surprised me how different coffee tastes! It's wonderful, not bitter, smooth and delightful. Even cheap coffee tastes great. It brews fast, much faster than a standard maker. The thermal pot keeps coffee hot for hours without the warmer being on. It beeps 5 times to let me know it's ready. The best coffeemaker around!

The old one wore out after 12 yrs, I wanted the same coffee maker with thermal pot. Any one who is looking for a coffee maker that keeps the coffee hot after it brews, this is a great one. I like all the features. Make sure you follow the cleaning instructions.
I hope this coffee maker is available in another 12 years.

We liked out previous Cuisinart coffeemaker. It died after a few years of daily use, so decided to get the same brand. This time we decided to try the thermal pot instead of glass. The coffee stays hot for at least a couple of hours. It tastes better NOT being constantly warmed on the burner. I would give it a "5" rating, but the hot water seems to pass through the drip a bit fast, and we are needing to use a little more coffee to get the desired flavor.

As recommended here I use the 4-cup button for my usual 7- to 8-cups at a time. Pour the coffee into the permanent filter to about 3/4 and press start, then 4 cup. The time sets easy hold down the button a few seconds to engage, release then press away. I never program, but I'm sure it works fine. As recommended here I flush ot the pot with hot water before brewing. The metal thermos pot is excellent. It keeps the coffee hot for hours. If too cool after an hour or two, set it for minute in the microwave. No constant heating means coffee stays fresh tasting. I always flush out the filter very well, as well as the plastic holder so everything is dead clean each time. I can remember when a good stainless thermos alone (for the road) was up to almost 50 bucks. No more forgetting the OFF button, no more paper filters. Ready beeps could be louder, but who cares, it beep[s as advertised. Like I said: So far very good.
