I had a GE Profile microwave before and LOVED it. When I bought a “new†house the microwave was awful. I replaced it with the Profile because it is so versatile with the convection and speed cook features. It also looks lovely the design for the vents is brilliantly hidden yet easy to operate and very easy to change filters

Great microwave, I haven't yet used the convection oven. My only reason for giving 4 stars... the bright white surface light. My old ge advantium microwave had a more yellow hue light, that matched the rest of my kitchen lighting. This light is extremly bright white, and the light doesn't fully illuminate the easy my other GE did

The microwave plate cracked when I was heating a spinach soufflé on the Combination setting. I was told afterwards not to use the microwave plate with the convection feature. If I didn't have to rotate out appliance parts in order to use the oven's built-in features, then I would rate this product 5/5. Its panel layout is sensible and the extra features are convenient.

Although this a beautiful oven, the control panel is almost impossible to read. The small gray letters on a shiny black surface make no sense whatsoever. I've only had the oven one day and am already totally frustrated. If the lights are on in the kitchen, I get total glare and need to get a flashlight to read the panel. Obviously, I didn't see this microwave before ordering it.

This GE Microwave does it all: heats up food, cooks, bakes, roasts, and even cleans itself! This is the first microwave I've felt comfortable using to bake. It bakes evenly and browns evenly too! A small little point is that the timer and dial functions on this take a bit of getting used to. You have to select time, or dial it and the press the dial twice to actually begin, which if you don't already know how to use, it's a bit confusing at first. Like any machine, it's got features you've got to learn how to use. I've only been using it for a month and so far I'm loving it! If there are any negatives, i'll have to post an update after I find them.
