installers (samsung-provided) broke 1 mounting screw. the micro sporadically started cooking by itself until the samsung care-tech replaced a missing piece of metal in the top, door housing. this partially-fixed but the unit still comes on if the door is not forcefully closed. samsung replaced door & also the receiving latch w/sensor switches but this didn't help the same issues that persist. the under-unit light is incandescent and very dim. the exhaust fan is very loud on both speeds. currently, the micro won't re-mount above the range because the mounting screw-holes were destroyed by the amount of repairs made to make this safe. my family is very-disappointed especially since we had just purchased a new samsung fridge and love it. the microwave works very well but as soon as i wiped over the samsung letters they move around. now it only says s_msung. it would be nice if they etched the letters instead of glued.

I purchased this microwave 6 months ago and use it everyday. It's quite and my bacon is perfect. The defrost program works better than any I have used before. I'm 72 and have been using microwaves since they were called Radar Ranges [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This Samsung microwave is very modern looking and extremely easy to use. I was amazed at how light the door was and how easy it is to use and to set up. The ceramic interior is easy to clean, fan has 3 speeds and the LED lighting is bright and clear. This microwave has more cooking options than my old one and the turn table runs smooth with no noise. I must say that this microwave does so much that I am still learning a lot about it. I do like that it has a 30 Sec. timer on it to warm up a small snack or some left overs. We bought some pancake sticks that are frozen a few weeks ago and the microwave worked perfect on heating them up. I also enjoy the fact that you can just press one button to cook certain foods when heating them up. This microwave just makes my life so much simpler and I really have enjoyed using it so far. the pictures of this microwave are deceiving. the dashboard/touch pad are not backlit and are hard to see without direct light. quite an oversight.

This microwave is excellent, it is definitely worth it. At first we had a bit of confusion finding where the button was to set the clock, but we called Samsung and got the time set. We eat a ton of veggies and love to steam them and the function actually works. It also quieter than my previous microwave and has way more space inside, and the door shuts softly. The fan and light for the microwave have different setting .All of the settings are easy to use and the guide on the inside makes it even easier. The real test is going to be on Thanksgiving. We recently purchased this Samsung microwave to replace the OTR microwave that had broken. Installation was easy and requires two people. The microwave itself is great!! It heats the food evenly. We have used the beverage button which warms up a cup of hot cocoa perfectly. My husband did use the reheat button and was amazed at how well his food came out reheated to the perfect temperature. We love that there is an eco button we can use to turn of the digital screen. The exhaust on the microwave has been absolutely godsend in our home with the 4 different levels. The light underneath acts as a great night light in the kitchen for our little girls. Overall it was a great purchase, the reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the "manual" or lack there of. My husband and installer had to mess around with figuring out how to set the time, as there is no clock button. We recently had the power go out and I even tried to google how to set the time, but everything I found said to press the clock button, which this model does not have. So for I am very happy with my newly installed Samsung microwave model number ME19R7041FS. It is very sleek and modern looking. The size and functions are very similar to my old builder grade unit. However the stainless steel appearance and blue digital display is very modern looking. Everything about it seems to be made of top notch parts. However upon delivery and installation I was shocked to find out that there isn't much in the way of a manual as to how to actually use the microwave.
The microwave is a very handsome upgrade set up and operation is trial and error. I was finally able to set up the clock and figure out some basic settings. The Microwave has several preset selections for reheating meals, for defrosting frozen foods as well as cooking vegetables.
I find the interior of the unit to be constructed very nicely which a grey finish which reminds me of the interior of a range. The finishes inside and out are very practical, versatile, rugged but elegant.
I am confident with time and perhaps some trial and error the ME19R704FS will be a very welcome addition to my household. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This microwave is great for me and my family. I love the presets on it because it makes easy to use for my kids(and husband). I enjoy using the reheat option to warm up a dinner plate, the sensors are doing a great job detecting just how much time it needs until it is warmed up. Sweet! Not to mention it looks great, I already had stainless steel appliance in my kitchen but this microwave stands out amongst my others.
