This is the most simplest yet effective coffee maker. It makes a great pot of awesome coffee. There's just an on off switch and the coffee filter and the water well. But it's awesome that you can take out the coffee pot and it'll stop brewing for you to get a cup of coffee. The temperature of the coffee is wonderful; strength and taste equally as amazing. You Did it again! With your sharp, smooth look the new Mr. Coffee is simple to use when brewing it's 12 cups of coffee. It's so nice not to worry if you did everything right in order for Mr. Coffee to start. When all I need to do now is just press that LED button and that smell of fresh coffee starts. I absolutely love the 12 cup coffee maker, the best part is I can make as many cups as I want. I pretty much drink coffee from morning to night , I'm an old fashion guy and don't have time to keep putting in a kcup and waiting for the water to get hot, plus everyone can have a cup already made. I can't get motivated without it. My coffee plays an important part in how my day goes, and so far after using the 12 cup coffee maker I'm pretty happy. Broke after a few weeks. No auto shutoff and the button randomly broke one day so it was no longer able to be used. We normally love Mr. Coffee, but we switched to Black

Mr. Coffee simplified the design of its basic coffee maker, but it works pretty much the same. The new side-opening cover makes it easier to pour in water, but interferes more with the underside of kitchen cabinets. A negative is that the water level sight gage provides poorer visibility of the water level.

This was a gift for my mom. She was pleased with it as it is simple to use . For the elderly having to many options and having to set a clock is a nuisance and can be frustrating. She was happy that all it did was make coffee. The coffee taste good but was a little loud while brewing.

We finally replaced our previous model of this coffee maker. The new model takes a little longer and is a little louder than the old one, but we like the pitcher much better as it doesn't seem to drip. Coffee tastes the same and I rated it 5 stars because of the great price.

Only giving a one star because zero wasn’t an option. They sure don’t make them like they use to. The carafe cracked after a week of owning it. Never buying a Mr. Coffee again

The glass broke exactly 2 weeks after purchasing. Only used approximately 10 times. Filled up to the 10 cup line and went to brew and the glass broke. A replacement glass on Amazon cost the same as the whole coffee pot. Save your money and buy something better.

Do not like this new version of Mr Coffee switch. Been buying them for years and loved them but not the new version. Condensation builds up everywhere and when opening to dry out after use puddles form leading to bacteria growth. Also baskets and carafes are not interchangeable as has always been the case with old ones. They deliberately designed it to not work with existing accessories. Sadly, the last Mr Coffee I will buy.
