I live the easy way to clean my coffee machine

Bought a version of this from Target right before Christmas. The clock tends to reset back to 12:00 and you have to re-set the alarm every time. And the carafe glass has already broke. I washed the carafe and was rinsing out the soap by swishing around the water and it broke. It costs almost the same price to get a replacement carafe. I might just switch to a different brand. How unfortunate.

My last Mr Coffee machine lasted 10 years and I was super happy with it. That model is no longer available so I purchased this coffee pot. I've tried 4 different times making a full pot, and every time it overflows the filter and coffee grounds get in the pot. The only option I have is to make a weak pot every time. I'm not very happy with the brew and miss my old one.

I purchased this coffee pot about 3 months ago and absolutely love it! The take apart design is extremely unique. I wash the top portion of the machine in the sink not the dishwasher (it takes up too much space in the dishwasher - but that's just a personal preference). I love the added charcoal filter feature - most machines in this price range do not have it and really makes a big difference in the taste of the coffee. The machine stays on for 4 hours before it shuts off automatically which is much longer than standard auto-shutoff pots. I set the coffee maker to start very early in the morning so that it's ready when we get up for work (no waiting around for the coffee to finish). The perked coffee is very hot. I like the design of the pot, handle has a nice grip. The machine makes 12 cups of coffee, but they are 5 oz cups. So, if you are using a mug you won't get 12 full mugs. Maybe 6 or 7. There is a pause and fill feature when you are making coffee if you absolutely can't wait for the coffee. But, be careful when you put the pot back in place. If it's not exactly where it should be to complete the perking process, the coffee will not fall into the carafe and you will have a big mess (I know first hand - happened to me). My opinion - wait for the pot to finish brewing. I'm not crazy about the coffee basket that holds the coffee beans - it's just too small. I use a paper filter with the basket (you can use either the included permanent filter or a paper one but I find that using both works best). Overall, the coffee maker is easy to set up and comes completely apart for thorough cleaning. Some people have stated that they have a tough time getting the top back on the bottom after cleaning. It's very simple..all you have to do is move the yellow switch in the back of the machine and the top snaps back into place. This is a really good coffee maker and I am very pleased.

Poor design, the pin that secured the top to the base won't extend to catch the latch. I opened it, washed it preparing for the first use (meaning the retailer won't accept it as a return) and can't put it back together to brew coffee. Honestly I'm extremely surprised that there isn't another mention of this issue amongst these reviews, I can't be the only one that has had this problem given the way this is designed. I've never been compelled to write a negative review in my life but this is the first time I've had a product unusable right out of the box.

This is a replacement for a different model Mr Coffee machine that finally stopped working. I should have purchased the same model as before but I wanted the 4 hour warming feature. However this brews slowly, and the final 2 cups of water cause the filter to overflow sending grounds into the pot. I will be shopping for something better

Makes good coffee. overall is ok. Bit slow. 20minutes roughly. vs 15m for the old mr coffee pot. Alot of condensation on the lid. open lid, alot of water pours down. to make 12 cups, have to fill to roughly the 14cup (top of window) Coffee Filter-reusable that came with unit: always overflows the grounds into basket. ive had to reduce grounds, which means less water. (12 cup lines) giving 10cups of water. (open lid and get 1/2cup more) I like it, but its annoying as well. -I would like to have a filter that has an EDGE coming inward. (to stop overflow) or a taller side walls one.

I really liked the all black Mr. Coffee Coffeemaker. It looked great amongst my other appliances on ky counter and blended in well. I love the Brew Niw and Brew Later features. It's great to know that I can set a time for the coffee to brew for the next morning with just the touch of a button. My only issue with thus product is that it brews kind if slower than I expected it to. It takes more than usual to brew a pot of coffee whether it's 4 cups or 10 cups brewing. I love my Mr. Coffee Dishwashable. We always have family and friends coming in and out of our house, so we make multiple pots of coffee a day. It's easy to use and makes excellent coffee. It's programmable with multiple different settings. It's also super easy to wash. It comes apart in 4 different pieces. I wash mine every few nights and so far, it has held up great! It feels so great knowing that my coffee maker is clean. My wife also likes that you can clean it, as she drinks decaf, and is always scared that she is getting normal coffee grounds in her coffee. I am in Love with this Coffee Pot. I have been searching for one that gives me what I need and this one is for sure that one. Brewing up to 12 cups was so easy to do. This coffee pot has an easy open and close lid. The top lid is easy to remove. I opened the lid and removed the Brew Basket and washed it before use. In order to take the brew basket out you have to move the showerhead to the right. In the back of the coffee maker you can add up to 12,10,8,6, or 4 cups of coffee. I added the water and then I put the brew basket back in I added the coffee filter and the coffee grounds. I chose the setting to Brew later and I set the timer and the warming plate heated up 1 minute late but I the coffee was already brewing. While it was brewing it smelled wonderful. When using the brewing now button, it brewed right on the spot. It also has a clock on it that's easy to set . You can set the pot to brew at anytime you want it to. It also has the clean button which makes things easier. I like the fact that you can tuck the cord into a space in the back when your not using it giving you more counter space. If you have a dishwasher it's easy to clean in there. I had my coffee from this brew and it was the best the texture was so smooth, I felt like I was getting coffee from a Coffee Shop. I'm in Love with this Coffee Pot, I can't wait to have another cup tomorrow. This is the best one I have ever had. After it brews you do have to turn it off.
