The Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven packs a lot of features and cooking capacity in a small countertop footprint. Air Fry, Air Roast, Air Broil, Bake, Bagel, Toast all in one appliance and when you're done cooking, reclaim your counter space by simply flipping the oven up and away to clean and store. Unique design promotes speed and even cooking results, including 60-second preheat and family-sized meals in as little as 20 minutes. When the oven is not in use, reclaim your counter space by simply flipping the oven up and away to store. A removable back panel allows you to easily access the interior for deep cleaning.

How does the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven look and feel?

You can tell right away that this countertop appliance is a high-quality item once you take it out of the package. It is made of brushed stainless steel, with rounded corners, and a digital control pad. It is exquisitely finished. In addition, it is shorter and wider than a standard toaster oven. The Foodi Air Fry Oven has an odd but useful storage option that allows it to stand up at the back of the counter when it is cool and not in use. It features a little handle off to the side that you use to open the door rather than a towel bar handle in the front. Even though it's strange and takes some getting used to, this handle works just well and contributes to the oven's increased space efficiency. The air fry basket, frying rack, nonstick sheet pan, and crumb tray that are included with the Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven all appear to be well-made and durable. Because the oven is so wide, they are bigger than the ones you generally find in a toaster oven.

Is the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven worth it?

Yes. This gadget is absolutely something you should take into consideration if you're seeking for an air fryer plus a toaster oven. It works decently as an air fryer and a toaster. The only significant limitations are the size of the countertop footprint and the inability to roast a complete chicken. We advise go for it if you have the counter space and are used to purchasing rotisserie chickens from the grocery store. making meal preparation simpler and faster than ever thanks to a wealth of user-friendly features. A wise purchase for the contemporary kitchen is the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fryer.

What can you cook in a Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven?

This Ninja countertop oven air fries, as the name suggests. Additionally, it toasts and bakes just like a standard toaster oven. It also dehydrates food and keeps it warm when air roasting and air broiling. However, because it is so small, unlike many toaster ovens in its price range, it cannot accommodate an entire chicken. The manufacturer encourages using the large sheet pan to make sheet pan dinners and includes a formula and some recipes for them.

How do you clean the inside of a Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven?

Use warm soapy water and a soft cloth to wash the oven's interior. Clean the inside of the air fryer with a damp dishtowel or microfiber cloth and a small amount of dish soap. Use a clean damp cloth to wipe away any remaining soap. Abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes, and chemical cleaners will damage the oven. NEVER put the main unit in the dishwasher or immerse it in water or any other liquid. Thoroughly dry all parts before placing them back in the oven.

What is so great about the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven

In addition to dehydrating fruits and vegetables, it can also roast, bake, reheat, and cook food from frozen to crispy in a matter of minutes. It is simple to operate as an air fryer. Ninja also states that it uses 75% less energy than a standard oven. You can indulge in your favorite fried dishes guilt-free with Ninja Air Fryers. Enjoy extra-crispy results every time you cook with little to no oil, whether you're making seasoned fries, roasted veggies, southern fried chicken, or beer-battered fish. The powerful appliances cook meals faster and with less energy than large ovens. An air fryer would cost £52.74 to operate annually, according to research by Iceland and Utilita, whereas an electric or gas burner would cost roughly £316 and £264 annually, respectively.

Cooks OK, but smokes a lot, filling the kitchen with fumes. This may be due to the fact that it is impossible to clean the interior. Splatter from broiling steak will not succumb to any cleanser I have used.

I just purchased (Nov. 2021) the Ninja SP100 Foodi digital air fryer. I am having trouble opening the door. What is the secret??

I like the overall product no wasted counter space. My concern is that I have had to unplug it twice since having it. I've walked in the room and found it running what sounds like the fan even though it was not being used and stored in the upright position.

I really enjoy this air fryer. It makes great garlic french fries! It's just the right size to quickly cook a frozen pizza whole. I like how it swivels up and out of the way, saving counter space. Anything from a quick piece of toast to a full meal are easy to program and come out yummy. For me the handle on the side serves as a little reminder that everything else is hot. The display indicating the unit is still hot also helps. I like this air fryer so much I bought three more for family for Christmas.

I've never used a toaster oven before this one and we are very happy with it. It preheats in about a minute; our regular oven takes 10 minutes. It cooks in about half the time. With the air fryer basket I don't have to turn things (like tater tots/french fries). I was very surprised that there's very little heat or air flow coming out of it. It's got lots of vents, but you don't feel much coming out. I was concerned about having it on a counter top, with cabinets above. A crock-pot can put out so much heat and steam that it will delaminate the cabinetry. This machine doesn't have that problem. The food tastes better than it did coming out of the regular oven. It's amazing at toasting bagels!! At #2 darkness they taste like fresh made bagels. They're warm and chewy on the inside, and perfectly crisp on the outside. Our toaster never came close to this. We haven't used the regular oven since we got this. It's going to pay for itself in just the electricity savings.

It's not the tallest air fryer, but it's deep so you can fit a lot on the basket. After cleaning it and running it through an initial heating stage to remove any remaining shipping residue, we tried some air fried chicken. It turned out much better than I expected and only took 8 minutes to finish. One thing I don't overly like is that the air fry basket is a bit hard to get in and out as you need to use the tray underneath and this sits on top of the wire rack. You basically have to pull all trays out to get the basket. Minor issue. The basket is also a bit of a pain to clean, but again very minor complaint. I haven't tried the bagel or toast options yet, but plan too. As of now, this will most likely replace the older toaster oven I had

First, it is probably important to know that I am transitioning from an old Samsung Convection Toaster Oven to this and I have only been using this for two weeks. I looked at other options but they seemed huge (in size). One of the complaints I have read about the Ninja SP101 is that it is smaller. It is. It is good sized in depth and width but lacks (for some) in height. For me, that works but even when I made a good sized amount of nachos I had to press it down a bit so it didn't get too near the heating element. I am single and cook for 1-2 people and this is ideal. It takes up a bit larger footprint than my ancient Samsung but is lower profile. I don't mind the lower profile (I prefer it) and unless you are wanting to cook multiple items or any foods that are higher vertical then this is fine. It also looks good sitting on my counter. PROS: I like the controls and after a short learning curve is pretty simple to use. This pre-heats up quickly and cooks fast. The first item I cooked was frozen fries and used the Air Fryer. The fries were crisp and tasty. I was very happy with this. I toasted bread and bagels and it seemed to toast fairly uniformly taking a bit longer that I thought it would considering how powerful this oven is. I'm good with this. I used Air Broil to make nachos and it was perfect and quick! I used Bake to make some cookies and used parchment paper and it worked well. I ordered the casserole dish, thinking the higher sides would help prevent messes. Last night I cooked a wok dinner with tofu cubes, peppers, onions, noodles (boiled first), carrots, broccoli, celery and cashews with a teriyaki marinade. OMG, this was so good and no messes and the new casserole dish is non stick and although lighter and most likely cheaper (in quality), I prefer using this to the pan that came with the oven. Dinner was delicious! I have not used Dehydrate and Keep Warm functions yet. The light is a nice feature. CONS: During Air Fry the left front corner seems to cook hotter and burnt the edges of my french fries in this corner. The fries (in just this corner) were still edible just blackened. I have read that some customers thought the oven was difficult to clean. The sheet pan included with the oven is heavier than the casserole dish I later purchased but it seems more difficult to clean, as I had to make a few attempts to remove cheese. The surface is not smooth and has small bumps on it that concern me, but really not with reason as of yet. My main focus is to keep the oven clean and prevent splattering and boil overs as the heating elements are exposed and I feel are vulnerable. I will be using parchment paper and using the casserole dish more than the sheet pan. I have not made pizza yet but my concern here is that if I set the pizza on the rack there is nothing below it to catch any potential mess and can fall on the heating elements. There is the crumb tray but that is below the heating element. My initial thought was to place the cooking sheet under the wire rack but the sheet (and casserole dish) are designed to sit on top of the rack and don't use the grooves on the sides to support itself. I tested out putting the crumb tray directly under the wire rack and it does fit so this would protect the heating element but if I'm going to do this, I probably should just use the cooking sheet pan instead. I have often considered putting a silicone baking sheet under the wire rack to catch any drippings or mess but, again, does this defeat the open cooking of using the wire rack? I'd prefer to cook a pizza in a pan rather than drip on the heating element as my biggest concern (from other reviews) was that once it drips on the element it is nearly impossible to clean. Right now I am operating under the delusion of keeping the SP101 new but this is not practical (for any oven). It would be nice if the tray was spring loaded and would come out when the door was opened. You must manually pull out the tray or wire rack to remove from oven so you really need to have oven mitts at the ready to even add ingredients. My Air Fry Basket has a minor defect in the middle of it but is minor. Other: I don't use the flip feature as I'm OK with its footprint and as I said earlier, it looks good sitting on the counter. But the flip feature does work well and if you are interested in this feature it seems worthwhile. I have been pulling the oven out when I use it to keep the cord away from the oven and giving it more space to ventilate. I have a plastic can opener mounted above where I use the oven. Even after a 450 degree cooking the can opener is warm to the touch but does not get too hot. The sides of the oven don't get overly hot (but the glass does). This seems well built and I probably don't need to pull it out but will continue to do so. I don't think I will ever have a reason to use my regular oven again. This oven is big enough (for my cooking needs) and this oven pre-heats so much faster than my big oven, cooks more evenly and is more convenient. I am going to give my big oven a good cleaning and know it will stay clean as I probably won't use it again. This oven is a good air fryer and I am impressed with the results, but I have never had an air fryer before. All the other functions seem really good. The wire rack and sheet pan are sturdy but I wish the sheet pan could support itself using the rails like how the air fry basket does. The air fry basket is flexible but still sturdy and mine had a minor defect. The crumb try is fine. I really like the added casserole tray. I would highly recommend this product unless you need or want the extra height of the Cuisinart TOA60. The Cuisinart, after reading reviews, was my first pick but after looking at the overall footprint, I decided against it. I am happy with the size and performance of the Ninja SP101. I will update this only if I have some issue with the oven.

Overall I’m not sad I bought this. I hate having stuff on my counters so the flip up feature is awesome! But because of how difficult it is to clean I’ll only be using it as a toaster oven. We’ve made wings and fries a couple times in it and they turn out fantastic, nice and crispy but for me not worth the headache of attempting to clean afterward. Even though it uses less oil what oil there is splatters everywhere inside. Not a problem on the bottom with the drip pan but the roof and sides...Ugh. If you don’t mind either a dirty oven or scrubbing till your arm falls off then it’s a terrific fryer.

This product had some bad ratings but a lot of high ones, so we went with it. Boy were we wrong! First -- be careful about the product dimensions -- it is big. Secondly, we got it together -- a task-- and then did the 20 minute thing with heating it after you washed everything to remove the smell -- boy was it strong. By the end of the 20 minutes several of the lights were out on the digital display and you could not read it very well. BUY another product!!! We are returning it!

I thought this unit was going to be the best thing since sliced bread for my kitchen. I haven't used it yet, but I am already leery, just by setting it up. I had to turn it on to burn off the assembly scent. It makes noise. The unit gets HOT, and the top is untouchable it is so hot. One can get seriously burned from the surface. A surface that should be useable as you cook. A surface I think the manufacturer should have made safer and useable. I plan to put a hot pad on top. I do not need to flip it out of the way as I have the countertop space, but that feature will come in handy for cleaning. You will also need to buy special oils and parchment paper. I will review again after I start using it.

I really hate doing bad reviews. I really had high hopes for this product because of the flip up option because I don't have much room on my counter .....but .....this thing is impossible to clean. I've only had it since the second week of November ....have only used it 3 times .....and the air fry basket has rusted rendering it completely useless. I will say it does cook well but when you use the basket, even after spraying and spraying it with nonstick spray like the directions say, everything sticks to it. I really hate the clean up and stopped using the air fry function for that reason. Worst $200 I ever spent.

I have only had it for about 15 days now. I have wanted and air fryer for quite awhile, I looked at several different models (osyter, emeril lagasse, and others), read and scoured the reviews on Amazon, Walmart, and other sites I could find about fryers. I had some very specific things I wanted to be able to do like make a real pizza (as I love my pizza), make a meal at once like chicken, vegetables, potatoes without having to do them separately. I also wanted one that had more options than just air frying food. This Ninja Air Fryer met my requirements as it not only will air fry, but it will broil, bake, and keep your food warm (which is important as many times at work I don't get to eat for hours). It arrived very quickly, came ready to use right out of the box. I followed the instructions the first day and cleaned all the equipment and let it dry overnight. The second day I did the initial run like it says in the literature to season the equipment, and that night I air fried some breaded cauliflower, sweet potato and regular potato pieces with my sandwich (as in the photo) and it turned out awesome. The third night was PIZZA night (in the photo) which I made and then baked in the oven and it turned out excellent. That Sunday I really put the unit to work as it was chicken wing night at work. I air fried up 18 pounds of chicken wings for all the guys at work, it ran consistently for close to three hours without any problems (one load of wings after another the whole time). As a note to myself I am going to invest in another wire mesh basket and teflon tray so I can rotate on the next wing night. I would recommend using aluminum foil on the teflon tray to catch the drippings and other things from the wire basket to easy the cleaning. Make sure you spray the mesh basket with non-cook spray as that also made the cleaning a little easier, but you will be soaking the basket in really hot water to get it really clean. The cleaning of the unit is very simple as the bottom opens up and you can reach the entire inside of the unit. The Ninja Foodi is not very noisy (yes you can hear some faint fan noise), it is very easy and friendly to use, I did not notice or get concerned with the heat when it ran for 3 hours straight, there was some steam that escaped from around the door edge, and it has made all the food I have cooked so far to be very tasty. I will try to update in the coming future as I use it more, and I can see it will definitely replace the oven, broiler, and toaster in my home.

This is the most difficult to operate item we have ever purchased. We have tried it several times only to become terribly frustrated with it. Would like to return it however we used it and threw away the box it came in. Also purchased the cook book and it is not good!

Well, this was going to be a Christmas gift for my wife ... but she saw the box - so, win-win; early Christmas gift for her and the family gets to enjoy the air fryer sooner! lol We have the Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker/Air Fryer but when I saw the oven with much more space, I knew my wife would love it. When we would fry wings or French fries, the other Foodi just didn’t have enough space to cook much. Now, we tried this one out tonight and it works great! Can cook enough in it for our 3 kids without having to do multiple “batches” of fried food. This was a great purchase, and you can’t go wrong with Ninjas quality and great customer support.

First, Extremely easy to use. A no brainer!! We’ve had only a week and we are impressed. We’ve air fried tater tots & French fries with no oil. Crisp & healthier. Baked potatoes turned out perfect. Baked breaded chicken breasts perfectly. In our oven the breading flakes off, NOT in the bake mode. Toast & frozen waffles turn out perfect (I suggest you thaw waffles first). We’ve cooked frozen chicken pot pies & they turned out perfect. We have an extremely small kitchen counter area. The fact that this appliance folds up after use is a positive that can’t be overlooked! We’ve already suggested this product to several of our friends. This is a GREAT product. It will also save you on electricity costs because you won’t be heating up your entire oven, just a small counter top efficient oven?

Does what it is advertised to do. However the unit I got had a problem. The sheet pan warped as soon as it got hot. One corner was two inches higher than the rest of the pan, and all the food sliding off to the opposite side. Customer service was not particularly helpful. The first guy I spoke to told me that was normal, and nothing he could do about it, even though the unit is not usable for baking, roasting or broiling as is. So I called back. The second guy seemed baffled and suddenly vanished from the phone line and I was left with a woman with a heavy accent who turned out to be helpful in the end. In six weeks I can expect a replacement pan. We shall see if the new pan solves the problem. Got the replacement pan ahead of schedule, and this one does not warp! Kudos to Ninja Customer service. I have changed my initial assessment from 4 to 5 stars!

...then I'm terrified to let it actually air fry something without burning my place down. I may give it one more shot, but I have a very strong feeling this is getting sent back no matter what. It's really pretty awful. EDIT: While it's not in bold anywhere, you will find deep in the promo material provided that "shaking and flipping" are highly encouraged. Actually, it's totally necessary. In all of my simple toast tests, it never once toasted the bottom anywhere close to what the top achieved. Just noting again: we're talking about toast needing to be flipped. It also wouldn't ever do simple toast without constant monitoring, or it would burn it to a crisp, even at the lowest possible setting. This needs to be babysat, constantly. It might - if you are willing to put in the time and constant focus - actually cook something decent. But I didn't get a little appliance for serious cooking - I'll do that in with a real oven. I need to pop something in and walk away and not worry that the food will undoubtedly get charred on the top while barely cooked on the bottom and likely set the house on fire. I mean, 3:30 minutes for 2 slices of toast and this thing is seriously hot for another hour afterwards...and smoking for 5 minutes as well. It could never once make toast without burning it. Not. Once.

Like; It hits up fast, flips easy, provides even cooking surface and pretty easy to use (I don't think this product needs more five star reviews though) Compromises: I somehow ended up getting a sheet pan that's not a flat surface (ordered November 2020), its really awkward to bake cookies on this thing. Also, the inner dimension is definitely less than 13 inches (see photo). Its good as long as you are okay with air frying something that's less than 2". Regular Pyrex pie pan will fit perfectly fine unless you want to bake a really tall apple pie (don't think you can actually use it since Pyrex is not broiler friendly and this product has a top heating element that's almost a broiler?) Maybe ninja will come up with additional accessories to address these issues, but as of right now I couldn't find any accessories. Thanks for watching.

What an amazing piece of equipment. It's changed how we cook. We've added 4 sheet meals to our reg dinner choices. Dead simple to use and oh so delish. Unlike regular oven that takes a while to preheat, this is ready in 2 minutes. In addition to sheet pan baking. I've baked frozen casseroles, broiled bananas, baked cookies, air fried frozen egg rolls & fries, and quickly reheated foods that needed to be crisped up. And, it toasts like a champ. Of course, it's got a bagel setting. It can really do it all. I now use this wayyyy more than my oven. Once it tells you it's cooled, you can flip it up with the touch of a hand. Hellooooo counterspace!

I am so impressed with this air fryer/convection oven. It preheats to 400F in 40 seconds! And the even cooking it does on the air fryer setting as well as crispiness is just impeccable. I am so happy I did not buy those basket air fryer which may have been a one dimensional use only and instead went for this which is so versatile. Easy storage and flips up to clean or save counterspace. The only negative about this is that it can be slightly noisy when it is air frying but normally we are not cooking things too long so it doesn't bother us much. Chimichangas, homemade pizzas, frozen fries or pizza, zucchini chips all can be made with amazing crispness and healthiness in this air fryer oven. Highly recommend to anyone who is thinking about this.

Let me start by saying this air fryer is sleek and beautiful and I would recommend it for a large family with plenty of counter space or at least higher cupboards to fit under when flipped up. It is much too big for my one butt galley kitchen and although I wanted to keep it and make it work I am reluctant that I have to return it. It is too heavy to keep putting away under the sink everytime I want to use it. I do think it is an amazing machine however. I did not use it knowing I would be returning it but I think it looks substantial and worth the money. I did read the dimensions prior thinking it would fit under my cupboards when flipped up but is about 1" shy because of the rubber bumper in the back.

Whatever you do, don’t be fooled by the picture on the box that shows the air fryer basket on the bottom half of the toaster oven. That is not true. The fryer basket sits in a groove that is near the top, so it limits the frying depth. This will not work for my family.

Love it. My first air fryer and it works great. Can’t believe how fast it cooks. Warms up in about 2 minutes. I love the large area to spread out food. Only drawback....It is a little short. If it was 1/2 inch taller my 8x8 glass cake pan would fit. NOT a deal breaker. I knew it was short I wanted the large pans to fit and not have a huge oven take takes up a bunch of space. I did a lot of research before getting this one. Would not buy an air fryer without the glass to see the food. Especially now that I have used one. The cooking big times are so different everything would burn it I could not see it.

I absolutely LOVE this oven/fryer/convection/toaster etc. I use it at least once a day, sometime more, and it's a workhorse. It preheats in seconds; I love it! I rarely use my oven since by the time my oven preheats the Ninja would already be done cooking whatever I was going to cook in my oven. It takes much less time to bake everything so I lower the temperature or reduce the cook time. For example, it takes 55 minutes to cook a frozen pot pie but it only takes 25 minutes in the Ninja. I don't know how I lived so long without this beautiful little gem. It's worth every penny and I couldn't be happier!

First, you should know that this review is only a partial evaluation of the unit's capabilities. Unfortunately, as with a number of other reviewers, I had issues with the fan control where the fan would keep operating even when the oven was completely cool. I called customer service for this problem and was told that this should not be happening and was told to unplug the unit and try again (which did nothing to improve the situation). I must, therefore hesitate to highly recommend this appliance based on this issue, which would appear to be a manufacturing defect and could result in issues with the durability of the components in question. Otherwise, here are some other observations which might be useful in making. purchase decision: PROS - The oven heats up very quickly and appears to have an extremely uniform temperature when used in the settings that require the fan operating. Temperature settings are reasonably accurate. The product has a large capacity although, as noted, there is an issue of the amount of space between the cooking area and the upper elements. I found the swiveling design to be brilliant. A little clearance in the rear is required but the unit can really free up a great deal of counter space when stored upright. Finally, the product has generally good access to any of the areas requiring cleaning - something you don't usually find in this type of equipment. The operation of this oven is very quiet and should not be an issue. A very basic manual and quick start guide are provided with the unit. CONS - Found the toasting settings to be difficult to adjust. Needed a lot of fiddling to produce an acceptable product and may require different settings for each type of item to be toasted. I also found that the temperatures when not using the fan settings (toasting) were somewhat less uniform. Bread on the right side of the oven appeared to be much less toasted than on the left. Also, there was more browning directly around the heating elements resulting in some partially burnt edges. As far as the mechanics, this oven will probably require more cleaning than most. When flipping into the vertical position, crumbs on the tray will fall to the back wall of the oven and accumulate at the rear when the oven resumes the horizontal operating position. Accessibility is quite good although my preference is to have the crumb tray removable from outside the oven rather than through the door. Controls will definitely take some experimentation. (My first attempt at toast resulted in dried out bread, slightly tan on the top, white on the bottom - suitable only for croutons) Otherwise, the operation appears reasonably intuitive, especially for the roast/fry/broil settings.

I have a Ninja Foodi which I love. I've had it for a little over a year. I use it everyday. I bought a small airfryer as a backup support for when I'm making a bigger meal. I gave my airfryer to my sister who needed one. So I thought this would be the perfect time to purchase another unit. I rarely use my stove or oven anymore. So I explored different options and came across this appliance. I thought It would give me more options to cook foods that are a little harder in the ninja foodi. Larger pizzas, baking cookies, etc. Plus it was a space saver and for someone with little counter space that was a big draw for me. I really wanted to like this! I've been cooking with it a month and i hate it. (insert crying emoji)...It just doesn't cook all that great. And I'm surprised because I read the reviews and they were good. My ninja foodi airfrys rings around this thing LOL. The bake function isn't bad but I do alot of airfrying. The food cooks unevenly. If I have chicken breasts cooking in the unit, one half of them will be really cooked almost burnt, the others need to continue cooking. So I have to take the other pieces out while the others finish cooking which defeats the purpose for me. By the time the cooking is done, one half of my meal is luke warm. I can't return it because it isn't defective, and i think the time for return is expires tomorrow. So I'll see about selling it and buying another Foodi. About the only thing that cooks well in this thing is the pizza. So I have a $200 pizza warmer. LMAO.

I was so excited to get my Ninja Foodi! I removed it from the box read the instructions and plugged it in! The first thing I made was toast! I was happy with the results! The next time I went to use it, it wouldn't work, I unplugged it and perused the instructions. I hadn't done anything incorrectly. After a while I was able to use it. This has been the pattern. I have to wait for it to decide when it wants to work. Overall, I am disappointed with this purchase. I even tried plugging it into a different outlet. I don't know what is wrong with my machine.

I got it today and cleaned it and used it to make two types of chicken drumsticks (crispy keto air fried and the sriracha lime that comes with the package). They were delish and cooked so fast. I’m obsessed! Cleaning was a breeze. Such a good purchase, I can’t wait to keep exploring what it can do!

It’s been a issue since day 1. Now 5 months later and I think it’s a bigger pain that first day. It is horrible to clean. If you have lazy kids who don’t clean it and put it up right then you get grease streaks. It has a horrible pivot that also gets food stuck in side it (the pivot or where it turns up) as well and that’s the outside when it’s up right. The tube element can not be properly cleaned. 5 months later and it barely toasts anything on the first time settings. Cooking toast twice is a pain! If it’s truly “stainless steel” that’s a huge joke as it’s scratched and turned yellow from barely using it the first week. I thought the traditional toaster oven even with Airfryer was a joke but this Ninja tops it all as the worst! I wish I could get my money back it’s an expensive considering it hasn’t held up in 5 months I’ve had it. It doesn’t deserve one star.

I love it! It’s just what I wanted. We use it EVERYDAY. My husband usually has biscuits in the morning. He likes the frozen Pillsbury Grands. He only eats 2. It takes at least 20 mins for our large oven to preheat and 23-25 mins to bake them from frozen to done. My Ninja Foodie Oven preheats so fast we don’t even wait. Just set it to bake at 350 for 18 mins and put them in. They are done in18 instead of 45 mins! I think that alone will save on my electric bill. Also most frozen pizzas will fit. Not the huge ones, but the regular size pizzas - 13”. Right now I am baking a Stouffer's lasagna. I have air fried frozen egg rolls, jalapeño poppers, fried mushrooms. All from frozen. I haven’t tried to batter and cook anything. I baked muffins. I’ve made cinnamon toast. I even broiled burgers. They were so juicy, too juicy! All the juice was retained inside the meat for some reason. When I pierced one it exploded with juice - not fun, so I popped all of them and put them back to cook the insides. But they were the best broiled burgers. I haven tried a steak. Ninja is coming out with a new oven but it looks like it will be taller. I didn’t want a tall one. I wanted this one because of the low profile. There is a lot of room between it and the cabinet above. Also I love the feature that allows you to flip it up for cleaning or storage. I can still that counter when I am not using the oven because it is flipped auto out of the way. I can’t get over how fast this thing heats up. Due to the low profile you can’t rotisserie a chicken but I thought I would use that feature the least and preferred the low profile. This little gem will go in the travel trailer.

I've had this oven for about 2 weeks now and it is very efficient, and created with a clean logic that makes it easy to understand. The quick start section of the manual is very good and I didn't need to refer back to the manual like you sometimes need to do with other devices. Things I've noticed since transitioning from the upright ball shaped fryers to this... 1) I've had to lower the temperature by about 20-25 degrees to avoid burning on things that didn't burn in the ball shaped air fryer. Nothing wrong with that, I just had to adjust. 2) Unless you want to lose access to your toaster oven all day, make sure to cut any fruit or meats thinly when using the dehydrator setting (or poke holes in the fruit). I LOVE making tofu jerky which is a snap but I put in very fat blueberries once and it took ALLLLLL day. I didn't poke them like I was suppose to. If you like dried blueberries, get the small ones. They were very tasty when done. If you cut apples into thick "fries", they'll be done in 2 hours., not the recommended 5 hours as per their recipe book. They were still fleshy at that point, like those soft dried apples, not thin and crispy or leathery. The oven itself can be touched by human hands while on the dehydration setting, so I would call it safe but I'm still too scared to leave it on overnight. But that's not a reflection on the product. I'm still learning about dehydration techniques... 3) Cleaning this sucker is a real breeze. Toaster ovens are notoriously hard to clean but the removable bottom section makes cleaning the ninja super easy. You may want a spray for stainless steel for the top because it will create fingerprints. Wish this was a brushed chrome situation. I'd pay for that addition to the materials. 4) This oven (and I'm sure other toaster ovens with more digital like controls) are very easy to my mother to manipulate with arthritic hands. My previous toaster oven was a very basic model and turning that dial was difficult. I almost waited for the new taller one to come out but I'm really happy with this one.

I never got crispy chicken tenders. I sprayed the basket and the breading always stuck to the fryer pan. I had to cook the chicken twice as long as recipes said and still soggy. I don’t get it as my convection oven is easier and faster in the long run. I made many attempts to love what it said it would do. The recipes were limp. Not enough instruction for all the options of the cooker. And too much cleanup. The only food that was good was frozen French fries. And if you liked frozen breaded food then maybe this is for you.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I've only had it for a few days so I can't speak to the reliability of it, but my first impression is fantastic. IT BAKES! I haven't tried any of the other functions really because I mainly was looking for something that would let me bake quickly without heating up a tiny apartment. This is it. It heats up in a minute or less, and it actually bakes things evenly. I've made 2 pizzas, biscuits, and cookies, and it cooked them all perfectly. You may have to tweak times and temperatures, but I've never had a toaster oven type appliance that could bake things this well.

I've always wanted an air fryer but did not want to add another gadget to the kitchen counter. The fold-up feature sold me on this as well as the demos, which made cooking and cleaning look so easy. Cooking yes, cleaning no. I am very disappointed that after my first use, my air fryer basket is permanently stained, despite following the recommended care instructions. I further tried to soak with hot water, vinegar and baking soda and nothing. I went on the website to buy a replacement basket and they are all sold out. Cleaning the interior can also be a bit of a task and I get nervous to clean around the bulbs. If anyone has any insight on how to clean the basket or make cleaning of this appliance easier overall, please let me know!

We are a large family, I purchased this because I needed more cooking space. This product is wonderful. Easy to use. I love that I can fold it up and it doesn't take space on my counter. Food tastes great. Cooks very quickly and evenly. I don't love the pan it came with... everything sticks and NEVER comes off. But I put parchment paper down and this has solved the problem. It truly does what it says... multi function. I'm happy so far!!

The airfare basket doesn't move down . It's at top the temperature and time adjustment is difficult. And when I baked biscuits. The back 2 in left corner were burned. Not large enough. For more than 2 people . Would not recommend this .

Love the hinge storage which is why i purchased this oven. So far i have air fried and it cooks so wuickly i keep overcooking everything. It is a work in progress as it does not correlate to the instruction book. It is very powerful. The basket goes in the dishwasher but it is building up a bit of a yellowish tinge from the air fry which does not scrub off. It toasts really well. So far i have not baked anything so cannot comment. My kitchen is not large so for my configuration the fact that it stores upright is the key element. It frees up my counter. It is very easy to store as it is on a hinge. It is fairly wide but again not an issue as it fits my countertop well.you should measure your width bwfore purchasing. Overall i really like the design. It is about the same as anyother toaster oven in function. The controls are easy and adaptable. All the accessories fit inside when stored upright. I would recommend it. If you have a huge kitchen you might want one which has more interior height, if you are using casseroles or roasting. This was not my intention.

Wow this is crazy what an awesome product this is. I havent even used all features yet but so far the air fried vegetables have been super! And I use it to warm up my trifecta meals every day. SO much easier. And if a fruit or berry is starting to go bad and is not so great for eating anymore then it goes into the dehydrator overnight and we have fresh chips in the morning. The way it folds up under counter is really an awesome and neat feature too. I'll be raving about this to everyone.

This is worst thing I bought. Its small and very hard to clean. The drip tray sucks and it's cheap. And burners turned black after 1st use. It smokes terribly cooking on air fryer. The trays also arent stick proof like the emerald air fryer. Worst $200 I've ever spent.

If this item had the ability to give a 10-star review, I would assign it all 10 stars. This is a fantastic air fryer. After doing my research I chose this one primarily because we are a family of 7, so we need the room. I am SO pleased with the results.... and it is super easy to use. As if the results of cooking weren't enough, the whole unit easily flips up (after cooling..) so that you have access to all of your counter space. I was skeptical at first, wondering about flipping an extra large air fryer on end... but we easily do it... what a bonus! Some of our amazement is how delicious things taste, and that might be true for any air fryer... BUT, with the extra large capacity I can get everything done in one cycle... and, not heat up the house. Things take far less time too... hash brown patties that take 28 minutes in an oven, are done in 12 minutes on air fry. I cook chicken in the insta pot, then brush with BBQ and finish off under the broiler in the air fryer. The large size basket fits approx 20 legs... delicious ! You can't go wrong here.... even if you aren't a large family, you will LOVE the benefits of the ninja air fryer. We are SO glad that we chose it.

I ordered a ninja air fryer, and it was delivered on 5/20/20. I’m disappointed with the air basket. It isn’t made with stainless steel. When I saw some brown spots first time, I thought it was burnt stuff. Now I know that it is rust. When I wash it in dishwasher, I can see many holes filled with brown water. It smells like rust, and when you touch it brown powder comes off of it. Without the basket, the air fryer is less useful. Beware!!!!

Seriously, this is a giant, squat toaster oven. It does nothing spectacularly, not even toast - the bread slices on the edges of the rack do not come out evenly. It's design is so inconvenient and uncomfortable it actually made me not want to cook. The flip up storage thing is not nearly as sexy as you think it is, I mean, it just isn't at all. I watched and read reviews and comparisons before I purchased and I'm now convinced people are paid to give good ones. Also, you have to buy all of their accessories because no other brands will fit!

Many toaster ovens have less than the 1800 Watts this one has, with 1500 being a common value. In addition, many toaster ovens "spend" their Watts unwisely, over a very TALL interior space. Sure, the marketing ads like to show a plump chicken roast, but for 99.9 percent of the time that would just be heating empty air. This Ninja trades useless height for valuable AREA. I can make bigger pizzas, calzones, batches of fries, combined leftovers, etc. I can put more space between items, because of the extra area, and get more even and fast heat to all sides of the food items. Another advantage of not wasting watts on height is that the heating elements are much closer to the food. Closer REALLY matters for infrared heat, because doubling the distance to the element cuts the power by 75%. The control knob has a good feel to it, almost like the difference in controls from an economy car to a luxury car. Sounds silly, but why not have it? A little bonus feature is to cook the food, remove it, put it on a plate ( I prefer cooling rack for 2 minutes first ), cut it up, and put it WITH PLATES AND EVERYTHING right back in and set 5 or 10 minutes of "Keep Warm". That way, the plates are hot and the cut food doesn't lose heat. When taking out the warm/hot plate, double stack it with another exactly shaped plate so you can hold it more comfortably. Cleaning comments in other reviews are missing points... YES, because the elements are close to the food, you will get splatter reaching them. This is somewhat mitigated by the fact that the cooking times are so much lower than with other ovens, that the scattered food bits will not have time to get extremely encrusted. If for some reason a huge chunk of food should fall (it hasn't happened to me), the oven once again has the advantage of speed, because you can completely shut it down, resolve the mishap, and quickly get the oven back up to high heat. This oven never makes you wait. With other ovens, the preheat and power density are so inferior that you would probably not want to interrupt the cooking. For all those reasons, including how to counter its "con", I give it the full five stars.

This product does what it's supposed to do and cooks very well although I haven't tried all its features yet. Having said that, I'm not sure I'll keep it as I'm concerned about the length of time the fans run after the cooking cycle is finished. The instructions say that the fans continue running to totally cool the product but mine runs for over an hour even though it feels totally cool to the touch. Also after unplugging it for a while and plugging it back in, the fan will start running again. I will try it again today to see what happens. Other reviews have stated this same problem. I'm worried about having a fire as there definitely seems to be something wrong.

We wanted an air fryer. Saw the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry oven and decided that this product is for us. It is replacing our toaster and major use of our oven, which requires pre-heating and makes our small kitchen very warm when used. The first food item prepared was a tostada with cheese for nachos. It was done in 2 minutes! Next we made toast. The bread was evenly toasted. Pizza rolls took 8 minutes and had a fantastic crisp crunch on the outside. Re- heating pizza was a delight. It tasted as good, if not better than it did at the pizzeria. As far as any accessories needed, try pans you already have. We are looking forward to making chicken wings and a casserole next.

Very sad. Unit arrived with the display broken. Couldnt fully test because of this and the manual does not describe anything even remotely close to troubleshooting that. Also, Ninja has done an exceptional work with SEO. The keywords malfunction, troubleshooting or solved will not come up in lieu of YouTube videos doing fake product demos I would rate 0 but Amazon has not developed that feature either Stay healthy and wear a mask

I have had several air fryers and found that I did not use them all that much. The small basket style just didn't seem to meet our needs - particularly when cooking for my spouse and guests - even when it's just two more people. This little gem of a product has solved all of that. The 13 X 13 cooking surface - pan, rack, and air fry basket allow for more food to be cooked at a time and there are multiple options for using the oven. I have air roasted pork tenderloin, air fried French fries and chicken tenders, toasted English Muffins, baked a casserole, made baked poached eggs in muffin tins (easy for a crowd - just add 2 T of water in each muffin holder - 350 degrees for 12 minutes), air fried onion rings and breaded zuchinni, and baked a homemade pizza. All came out just great. I will report back in six months and see if this awesome product (so far) stands the test of time. Also, the unit folds up to provide additional counter space when not using it. That's another benefit. The only disappointment to date is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to some of the side accessories for this oven. The company says they are out of stock and I cannot find any information regarding when items will be available. Until then, I've been creative in finding alternative products such as a casserole pan that fits nicely in the oven.

I've been using this as an air fryer almost elusively, the fried chicken and tater tots end up tasting incredible. I love it! It only has one flaw, and it's why I'm not giving it five stars: Cleaning. Cleaning it is a serious pain, and you really have to do it with every use. They say it's 'easy to clean' but it really isn't...even after opening the bottom up to get at the inside, it's still difficult because there's a lot of right angles, nooks and crannies to clean and believe me, grease gets EVERYWHERE inside the oven. The fry rack is another nightmare to get clean, the mesh is very small so the baked chicken bits get worked inside all the little holes and it takes a lot of work to clean. Spraying it with non-stick spray doesn't help much either. Other than cleaning, I absolutely LOVE it and would recommend it to anybody! Even being a pain to clean, I still use it all the time because it makes such good fried chicken!

I read a bunch of reviews before purchasing and one of the biggest concerns I did have was the toast piece where a number of folks had inconsistent toast coming out. So, I've had mine for just under a week and have used it 5 times. I've attempted to submit this review a few times and it has yet to post. 1. Dimensions as listed worked out perfect. If you plan on using the flip up feature then always leave it away from the wall. If always going to be down then no need. 2. Although I don't normally follow instructions etc...I actually chose to do the full instruction read and set up. I did the initial run on air fry for 20 minutes after washing everything. Worked out really well. 3. First use: Made a single piece of toast. Kept the initial settings with it set to Dark III. It was a single slice Orrowheat wheat bread and it was a little over toasted. It browned both sides so no issues there. 4. 2nd use: Single piece of toast, Orrowheat wheat bread on Dark II this time. It wasn't quite in the middle and the edge was a slight bit overtoasted but otherwise good. 5. 3rd use: Used a homemade dough that wasn't specifically pizza dough but rolled it into the pan as per the instructions and then I added all kinds of toppings. Decided to go with the recipe book and use those settings fully expecting the dough to be undercooked. Used all the autosettings and it came out amazing. I will try and update with pictures once I get them from my phone. 6. 4th use was a bagel. Used the auto settings and set to Dark II. It was on the cusp of over toasted but turned out exactly how I liked it. 7. 5th use. Made some salmon. Had 2 pieces with different marinades. Started with Air Broil for a few minutes then switched over to air bake for 5-6 minutes. Finished with Air Broil for a few more minutes. Salmon came out perfectly cooked. I think I just got lucky from a timing perspective but totally happy so far. CONS 1. The instructions are good but even using them I find myself having to redo the settings over and over. Eventually I get the settings correct but it does seem to take some getting used to from a nuance perspective. 2. (18 May 2020) - this has happened twice now...didn't realize it the first time...but my roasting pan warps when heated inside the oven. It's flattens again once cooled. Not sure how to deal with this one. More than happy to answer any questions or even try suggestions for someone before they consider buying. At the price not easy to make the leap but so far I am happy and worth it.

We had gotten very used to a typical convection toaster oven and needed a replacement after the fan mechanism started making strange noise. Anyway we are truly blown away by how quick and versatile this foodi oven is. We’ve been able to cook everything and anything we’ve used our previous convection oven for and the food absolutely tastes better with this machine. We can fit MORE food in this foodi compared to our old Cuisinart oven. For speed, convenience and overall taste, you’ll be happy with this product. Just remember that it cooks faster than a typical convection oven so keep an eye on your food and get used to the speed in the beginning

I'm not a fan of Ninja products but this one is amazing. I've been wanting an Air fryer but they are to bulky and I simply don't have the space for one. I saw this and read all the reviews which were all positive so I pulled the trigger. The Ninja has exceeded my expectations. Simple tator tots took up to 15 minutes in my toaster oven after being defrosted in my microwave. I put frozen tots in the Ninja and they were done in three minutes, no defrosting required. Plus, I have limited counter space and the ninja folds up against the wall opening up my counter space. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Like most I read reviews and searched through what seemed like hundreds of variations before buying. I usually throw out the highs and lows and look for consistencies in reviews. I wanted an air fryer that was easy to store and would accommodate at least two with a preference for three portions. I like I can do garlic bread in here as well. Granted this only my second day but I have done fries, cheese sticks, egg rolls, and now a pizza. I love it looks nice and looks like it belongs on the counter and that it folds up. The versatility of this oven is fantastic. I really hope it holds up with time. I seem to do dishes twice a day and its very simple to clean trays and wipe down when I do dishes. Its a little pricey and that concerned me but if it last for years all will be forgiven on that issue.

One great small oven. We replaced our old toaster oven with the ninja. It air frys chicken and does French fries in half time of regular oven. It makes the clean up super easy compared to our other one. Wish it was about 1”. Taller but it is what it is we still enjoy cooking with it.

[Update] I had to downgrade this oven from 5 to 3 stars due to it not being easy to clean. I emailed customer service and they recommended boiling water and detergent in the oven. It didn't work. I then used white vinegar and baking soda. The picture attached is after I did both the boiling and the vinegar solution. You will likely need to accept that this oven is going to get dirty and will likely not get clean. Disappointed that there isn't a better solution that actually works. We live in an apartment, and space is tight. Adding an extra appliance takes up precious real estate in the kitchen. Two weeks ago, our oven made a zapping sound, and the lower heating element was glowing red hot and visibly damaged. Because of Covid-19, maintenance wasn't making things like a busted oven, a top priority (I don't blame them). I did some searching and found this Ninja toaster oven/air fryer. I knew our oven was going to be out for months and I needed a solution. After having it for a week, I can say this is the best kitchen appliance investment my wife and I have made in some time. The things I like about this unit: 1. It is large enough to hold a frozen pizza but small enough (flip-up) to give us counter space. 2. The frozen fries and nuggets we have cooked were crispy and delicious. 3. It is easy to clean the inside of the toaster oven. Simply flip up and open the hinged door on the back. 4. The variable cook features, such as broiling, air roasting, dehydrator, and toaster, provide replacements for multiple appliances in the kitchen. I'd recommend this to anyone who has a small kitchen to work in. This also would work well for a large family. You can cook food in the oven while also cooking food in the toaster oven.

TOO SMALL! I picked it up today and the thing is WAY too narrow to fit much more than a pizza or SMALL frozen dinner in it. I'm single and just wanted it for small things, but can't cook anything that isn't "flat" in there. WAY to small. WASTE of money, and trying to return it is so far becoming a REAL hassle. Recording said 5 days before my money is returned? About ready to put a stop payment on it, because it hasn't cleared yet. I'm livid

I purchased this less than 2 weeks ago and I have used it almost everyday. I have tried a few recipes from ninja and they came out great. I have used each setting and nothing has burned or been under cooked. I even baked cupcakes which were a huge hit. Not the easiest to keep clean but its possible. The preheat warms super quick. The settings are easy to use. I like that I can pause the timer when I’m checking on things. I wanted an air fryer which is what lead me to purchasing this one due to the multi uses. I dont have alot of counter space and the fact that it flips up is helpful. Since getting this I haven’t used my microwave to heat anything. The side door opening is fancy at least your not feeling the heat on your hand like most when the handle for the door in on top. It doesn’t make the kitchen all hot as the regular oven does which is helpful come the warmer months. Saves time and energy when you are making smaller items you don’t want to use the huge oven for. I can’t wait to see what other dishes I make with it.

This is a really great item it cool everything so nice I have already cooked fish, chicken, toast, fries, and my son makes his pizza in it. My only thing is its a bit compact on the inside so its a lil difficult to clean. Other then that this is a must have and with all the different things it can do its a must have.

Just went back to my Breville after using this product for a couple of months. Hard to clean and didn't toast evenly, amongst other things. I'm obviously in the minority as s so many other reviews are glowing. The product still works but is simply not nearly as good as our old Breville Smart IQ oven. My 2 cents!

This toaster oven is awesome. I bought this for my wife but I'm constantly trying to make new things. I air fry french fries and even bacon. Large pan catches grease. Can fit 13x9 pan for magic cookie bar receipe, brownies etc. convection speeds cooking along. Easy to follow instructions Flip feature gives you more counter room.

You can buy the exact same thing at Walmart for $20.00 cheaper and the extended warranty would be cheaper A friend had this and said it takes at least 3 minutes to make toast much faster in a toaster sorry

The dehydrator is AMAZING.. guys I made home made fruit roll ups overnight with mangos that we’re going bad, a squeeze of lemon and some local honey. People have left bad reviews about the toaster option because the lowest setting doesn’t do a light toast like most people like.. but you can take it out early.. just watch it. The glass is SEE THROUGH. Another bad review this air fryer had was that you can’t do a whole chicken.. but I think if you Spatchcock it you’ll be fine as far as room goes. I’ll update this review when I actually do this though ☺️

The main reason I bought this was to replace an air fryer, toaster, and pizza cooker that were taking up a lot of space in a very small kitchen. I liked the flip up design to get it out of the way after use. It takes a few try’s to get food right. This thing cooks hot! After a few weeks of finding items stacked on top of the unit (this negating it’s flip up ability) and bending over to counter height to read the keypad I put it on some microwave wall brackets and got it under the counter. Even easier to use now.

Easy to use. We bought it because we are in the middle of a kitchen remodel and we needed an additional way to cook food besides our microwave, since we didn’t have access to a real oven. We have made pizza, roasted veggies, toasted garlic bread, baked chicken, nachos, and we’ve even broiled our pot stickers (and maybe more foods—I just can’t remember). For all of these foods it has been perfect. It heats up fast. Way faster than a regular oven. Which also means you are using less energy than a regular oven. And it cools down quickly after the power is off. It’s a nice alternative when you don’t have a real oven for a time, but I do miss my real oven for larger pan dinners. It’s not a perfect replacement. I don’t think I would have ever bought this if we weren’t in the circumstance of remodeling our kitchen. But now that we have it, we will definitely use it in the new kitchen. I will pull it out when the regular oven is in use baking something big, like if I just need to do a small item; like garlic bread. I only now need to make a place for it to sit inside the cabinets and store away. It does flip up easily too for better storage-if you were to be keeping it on your countertop. I won’t leave it on my new countertops but you certainly can. The size dimensions are exactly as advertised. I can only bake/broil small items.

We got this as an upgrade from one of the dime-a-dozen egg-shaped air fryers, I think it was from Target and cost about $40. We were making wings so often that the dishwasher was stripping the anti-stick coating off the basket. The pricetag on the Ninja gave us pause, but it has already proven its worth and then some. The day it was delivered our oven broke and it took over a week to get replacement parts and a repair guy in. The Ninja stepped in beautifully and we were able to air fry wings, air roast sheet-pan dinners, and basically do everything we usually do in our full-size oven. Oh, and the tilt-up storage is fantastic in a tiny apartment with limited counter space.

It's easy to use and saves counter top space when not in use. I've also noticed my natural gas bill is lower since I started using the Ninja Foodi versus all the preheating and cook time on my gas range. The food cooks fine. I've cooked chicken and steaks with vegetables, and everything comes out tender and juicy. I like how you can cut big chunks of zucchini and onions throw them in with the meat and they come out thoroughly cooked and natural tasting. Cleaning around the heating elements is a bit difficult, and that's my only complaint.

You have to slide the fryer basket and bake pan in at the same time! Who knew? When I put the fry basket in first, I could barely shove in pan and it's all scratched. Also, lookout lefties. Only opens on left side so its awkward flipping food when you have use left hand to both open then turn food. Not impressed yet

I would give this a four and a half Stars if I could, but I can't give it a perfect five. All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend. I'm a single guy who doesn't really like to cook and reheat in the microwave. So it just doesn't make sense for me to use a big oven. This was the perfect solution. It does everything it's supposed to do. I gave it four stars for ease-of-use, because I've had to refer to the manual a couple of times to figure out the settings. Also, even though it has a toast option, you aren't going to want to use it if you have a decent toaster because it takes a long time. Everything else is great! Like other reviews have said, it might be difficult to cook full meals for big families. But for a single person or a couple it's awesome!

We spent several weeks comparing all types of air fryer combination products. Once we narrowed the product brand down, we spend more time deciding which Ninja foodie to get. We picked this one because we toast a lot and wanted to have less appliances. The only complaint, and it isn't really a complaint, is that the product is narrow, so when I am roasting a thicker sized chicken breast, for example, it almost touches the top burner. Other than that, the Foodi 8 in one toaster is an amazing product, it cooks evenly and once you master time and temperature, I imagine you won't cook with anything else either! We even dehydrated and that worked out great. Too bad it doesn't have a self cleaning feature; if it did, I think I would 'marry' the toaster!

This is just another kitchen gadget that will wind up collecting dust with the grease drippings it creates. It is easy to use, and the food taste was okay(chicken wings). But if you have a regular convection oven at home you can do every thing the Ninja does with a lot less work on the post meal clean up. It does take up a lot of counter space. You probably won't want to cook with it on your counter top because the smoke and fumes will coat your cabinets, and it gets extremely hot. Could it be the cause of a kitchen fire, just sayin. Save your money. 1/2 star rating. Just not worth the work cleaning up.

Takes some time getting use to how quickly it bakes. I've done chicken wings in it twice and they turned out great. I've also done calzone and again great, but you have got to watch how fast it cooks. I've also done grilled cheese sandwiches and the came out perfect. Cleaning chicken wing mess is a little hard. The grease stuck to the top. . I love the way it flips up, leaving more room on the counter.

I got this as a Christmas gift and the the foodie oven is absolutely amazing. So far tried the Bake, Aircrisp and Toast functions. For the Baking I love the two minute pre-heat function and do not have to wait the 20 minutes to preheat,I baked my favorite bread sticks and 15 minutes all the cooking is done the tray is non stick no lining required. You may have to lower the baking temperature 20F than your cooking range for the perfect results. The bread sticks were just as good as the regular one with faster results. I also tried wings for airfry and it will accommodate more food than the regular airfryer,Definitely I don't need two appliances on my counter. Loaded with features and love this and every penny worth!! No surprise it is selling so fast.

Bought this for my wife. Birthday Present. She opened it, freaked out, read the instruction manual and started putting it to work. I am not lying... She has put the toaster, toaster oven, and various other kitchens amenities into storage. This air fryer does everything! You have to do all food prepartion first before even turning it on. Warm-up time NOTHING FLAT. Cook time about 25% less than normal. Clean up time... Takes longer to type this sentence than to wipe out the air fryer. How does this machine look in the kitchen? Outstanding!!!! Blends perfectly with our kitchen design. Okay, so it has this feature that allows us to "fold it up into a standing position" while not in use. This is to make a small footprint on the kitchen countertop. Sorry... No good. Why? Cause we are always using it. If it's not the wifey and I it's the kid, If not the kid the Mother-in-law. Man this thing is quick and easy and you can do so much. For entertainment, we like to watch non-mainstream TV shows played on secondary show services.... Not sure if I can say this services but I will try... You know N_____X and H__U and Amazon Prime. While watching different shows there is always some cooking going on in the background. We have always done this where we attempt to recreate foods/dishes in the shows we watch and it's pretty fun but, the Ninja Air Fryer makes it EASY!. It is so absolutely unbelievable. Perhaps this review has gone a little too long and perhaps you might think that I am in some way, shape, or form affiliated with this product but, I can assure you. I am not. My wife seen it, asked me for it, I got it for her, and we are all reaping the rewards. The kid is a big gamer. He puts a pizza, egg rolls, hot pockets, whatever in, presses two buttons, and walks away. Like six minutes later "BING" and it hot and piping done. Easy!!!! If you are looking for easy. Get it. If you are looking for dependable. Get it. If you are looking for an honest no nonsense true review by a verified buyer and user. Got it. Hope this helps.

PROS: 1) Fell in love instantly because I will never have to fry chicken wings again! 2) Jerky! Jerky! Jerky! I threw out my dehydrator after making jerky in the Air Fry Oven. It came out fantastic and clean up was a breeze. 3) Toast all at once for my family. It can fit 9 slices of toast at once so no more standing over the toaster. I threw out my normal toaster after using the Air Fry Oven. 4) Appetizers. Fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, poppers, chicken tenders. These all come out great from frozen. I was able to do New Year's Eve appetizers like I had a deep fryer. 5) Tray meals. Chicken breast, brussel sprouts, fajitas, shrimp, squash, asparagus- they all come out great! 6) The space saving ability of this product is awesome. It blends in perfectly with my stainless steel appliances and when flipped up leaves enough room to place items in front of it. 7) Great at reheating leftover pizza! CONS: 1) Not a ton of height. Can't fit a casserole dish in it. 2) Not a lot of accessories available from Ninja ....yet. 3) Not a great frozen pizza oven. The trick is to cook a little longer at a higher temperature if you want to have some crisp to the crust. Chicken wings in the air fryer: 1) set to Air Fryer on 400 2) Spray the basket with cooking spray, then set the wings in the the basket but be sure to leave some space between the wings. You need air around the wings to get extra crispy 3) cook for 10 minutes then flip 4) cook another 10 then flip 5) raise temp to 450 for 10 minutes to get crispy Depending on the size of the wings you may need to either cook an additional 10 minutes or take out early. Easy wing sauce: Frank's Hot Sauce 1/2 cup, 3 tbls butter, black pepper, garlic powder. I typically cook this on stove top on low while the wings cook in the air fryer. Toss the wings with the sauce in a bowl right when you pull the wings out to enjoy.

Was so excited to start cooking, but just as quickly disappointed. The Ninja Foodi 8-1 is Easy to use, saves space with flip up feature, but cooks horribly uneven. On the fry setting, food on the edges burns before center is even cooked. Fry setting is more like baking. And the smell while air frying is horrible. Not sure if it is off gas from materials or what, but even after several uses, the smell remains. The toast setting completely dries out the bread before toasting it. Very disappointing!

Not sure where all the great reviews are coming from but here a few of my takes: Pro's Easier to clean than any other toaster oven I've had. Air Fry of foods like French Fries, etc. are pretty good and easy as long as you keep an eye on them and toss them regularly. Cooking frozen pizza on the rack is good but not exceptional. Preheats really quickly. Cons If I bake frozen pizza in the sheet pan as recommended it comes out soggy. Toast cooks unevenly and top is darker than the bottom. Watch your toast carefully or it will come out burned if you don't take it out immediately. Takes up more space than anticipated and requires extra spacing away from the wall in order to fold up. I'll update this review as I try more cooking projects but at this point my feeling is that it's not much better than a much less expensive toaster oven other than being really easy to clean - which to me really is a big advantage over others.

This is very large and takes up a lot of counter space when down. It does fold up nicely. The inside area is very short and not practical for a lot of my needs. It is also very hard to clean. I should have researched more before I bought it as I really wanted to be able to use it as an air fryer, but I don’t know how I would be able to clean it.

The inside is so small you are limited to the size of dish that will fit in and size of the items (meats) it can cook. I'm sure the next one with have a larger inside compartment.

I was so very excited to get this but was highly underwhelmed. The opening to cook things is very very narrow. I know that it has to be narrow for it to flip to standing properly but I didn't think the narrowness was worth the lack of functionality. It's very difficult to get food out without almost burning yourself. I did love the look of it and its compactness but that's about it.

This thing does it all and does it well. From making toast to air frying crispy wings from frozen in 25 minutes. Everything in between cooks great as well. So long as this thing holds up, my old toaster is trash and my oven wont see much action. Perfect for everything. Mozzarella sticks, potato skins, you name it. This thing will cook it to perfection and the cleanup is easy. Best purchase since the ninja smoothie blender. I'm impressed with the efficiency and quality of their products. I'm not being paid one red cent either. I just love to eat and love how this thing cooks food. My only concern is how long will it last? 12/8/19 is when I made this review.

REALLY LIKE THIS OVEN! 1st meal. Baked a pizza to perfection in 15 minutes INCLUDING Preheat to 375 degrees. 2nd meal. Air Broiled tuna steaks and stuffed mushrooms on High broil in 10 minutes. Delicious! Can't give 5 stars because baking tray warps under high heat in the oven and the power cord is ridiculously short. Other than these two issues on the 1st day of use we are very happy with this oven.

I bought this item at 4 am after being with my daughter in the ER for the day (she is fine, now). It was a purchase that had me trying to bring normal behaviors into a scary situation. I watched the video and thought, we are that!! We need that!! It arrived on Thursday. Thursday Tonya was not as optimistic as 4 am Tonya. It stayed in the box. I was going to return it. I moved it around the kitchen. I put platters on top of the box. I made plans to load it in the car and take it to Khol's, my husband and I discussed this over cocktails. Then it happened. My youngest daughter (11 yrs old) opened the box, read the directions and made cake, pizza, chicken wings (with sauce on the side), cookies, toast and meatballs. Not all at once, in the three days that followed. Now, all my kids have used it, we have 6 (children, not Foodies). They love that it heats quickly for frozen nuggets, that it can make a dozen cookies in 7 min and has a little red light that shows that the Foodie is still hot to the touch. We have named her Phyllis and she has worked daily for 2 weeks. Our 4 slice toaster, Mary Margaret, is getting jealous.

This is our new go-to appliance! We love the versatility, the way it heats up so quickly, and the light turns on when it's done to let you check on it without opening it in case it needs extra time - you don't let all the hot air out. We also love the fact that you can fine-tune the toast settings so easily. It's no problem at all to clean, you just pull out the bottom sheet and it goes in and out very easily from the front so no excuse for nasty crumb and melted cheese buildup ;o With our limited counter space, it is great that this allow you to flip it on its side. it has a convenient setting that tells you when it is cool enough to flip so no guesswork or burned fingers. Love it!

I was really excited to get this very cool toaster. Probably because of the awesome way you can store it. Now that I have it I am not sure it is as amazing as I thought. Even though you can store it upright it still takes a lot of space. And even though it is so huge there is not enough room in it to cook for a family of 4. I am currently only using it as a toaster so I don't think it's worth the price. You can buy great toasters for a lot less. I think it would only be worth it if you were to cook for 1 maybe 2 people but definitely not more. Also it gets really really hot on top and it takes a while to cool off.

I’ve owned two other airfryers this by far is the best. The fact that I can turn it up so it doesn’t take up all the counter space is a huge plus! Love the larger tray. I’ve cooked 9 chicken breast at one time! Love all the different options! Way to go Ninja!!!!

I am a huge fan of the ninja basket style Air fryer and had high hopes for the oven, unfortunately it is a disappointment. I love that it flips up to save space but that's about all I love about it. There is not enough room inside, there is very limited height and width to even allow for a decent size casserole dish. The outside top gets extremely hot and stays that way for a long time. Everything I've tried to cook in it comes out better in my basket style ninja. I will be returning it, and looking for something different.

It just so happened that my convection toaster oven was on its last legs when I saw this Ninja Foodi offered and thought I’d give it a try. It’s basically everything in one package—toaster oven, air fryer and convection oven. It is a very deep appliance. I actually didn’t have the space on my counter, so my Foodi is sitting atop my microwave making it all the more important that it has the flip up feature so it can be out of the way when I need extra room. First off, the Foodi goes up to 450 degrees making it able to toast, broil and even sear a steak. Many air fryers only go up to 400 degrees in comparison. It preheats very quickly. You better have your food ready because once the bell sounds that it has reached temperature, the timer starts counting down. The oven is incredibly quiet while cooking. You almost don’t know it’s on. The internal light is bright and the fact that it turns on automatically in the last thirty seconds of cooking is sheer genius! I’ve cooked fish sticks, bruschetta and last night, frozen pizza. I placed the pizza directly on the rack just like I do in my regular oven. The time and temp I kept the same as what was suggested on the box. I turned up the temp slightly in the last three minutes to get the cheese to brown, but that was the only change needed. Some melted cheese landed on the drip tray which I was hoping it would so I could see how hard it would be to clean. It wiped right up with a damp paper towel. I’m not sure if the drip tray is non-stick, but it acts like it is. The only real drawback I found with this oven is the lack of head space. Even a few more inches of height would open up more options. I’m not looking to bake a chicken, but I can’t even fit acorn squash halves in this oven and that will limit my usage of it.

My convection oven was commandeered by my sister, and my toaster died, so I was in the market for a new multipurpose appliance that could cover a lot of bases, so I did not have my counter covered in appliances. Along came the Ninja Foodi. I was really interested in the flip-up feature. That was really intriguing to me. To be able to fold down a nice deep oven, but not have it take up a substantial part of the kitchen counter. In reality, it is only a little longer than the 4-piece toaster I had, and when it is flipped up, it does not come out from the wall any further. The unit comes with a baking sheet and a fry basket. Both are needed in this off-size oven. It is good to have something that can maximize the area if the oven. The display is really well done. Turn the knob on the front to select the way you want to cook the food. Then you can press buttons to switch between time and temperature. I like how intuitive the setup is, and really easy to use. It also remembers what I was on last time, so when I had toast this morning, it will go back to toast again tomorrow. I really like the size of the oven, internally. There is enough space for 9 slices of bread. I tend to eat sourdough, so I cannot get 9 slices of the wide bread in there, but I always have enough room. The door on the front folds down and away to give me enough room to be able to reach in with a pot holder to get the tray of food out. I make toast in it, as was as baking. Both worked well. The one big issue I had was figuring out how to bake with it. When you set the temperature and the time, there is a preheat that begins. When the preheat was done, it just stated to countdown the timer. I was waiting for some sort of notification to get the food in the oven when preheated. It does not take long at all, and I found just to put the food in during the preheat time. The other problem I had was with the beep at the end of the cook cycle. It is WAY too quiet. I put a frozen pizza in there, set the time for the 18 minutes and went about my business. I didn't hear the timer, and came in to find the light on, and the pizza sitting in there looking delicious and ready to eat. I am going to have to set a second timer to remind me of the super quiet beep from the machine. One of the features I do really like is the toast feature. In the last 30 seconds or so of the toasting cycle, the light slowly turns on to reveal the toast, toasting. That is a great feature to be able to see your toast and stop the baking if the toast is ready to eat. I have not yet tried the air fryer, but I think it is going to be really straight forward. I LOVE that they gave us a basket that fits the machine. With how well the baking went, I would imagine that Ninja has perfected the air fryer as well. I am also excited about the dehydrator. My wife has and old dehydrator that is huge and clunky and takes up the whole bottom of a closet. It will be great to transition over to a multi functional kitchen appliance like this. There are a few issues with the machine, but overall they are very minor. There are a lot of great qualities to this machine. Don't think that it stops at the fold away gimmick. That is just the frosting on the very well made cake that is the Ninja Foodi.

This is our first air fryer and so far we are impressed. I'll start with the good: - It cooks the food fast and without almost any oil or grease. This should mean the food is healthier. We cooked 7 drumsticks in 40 minutes. - It is very easy to use - It is versatile, can cook almost anything there is to cook. It can even toast bread in a pinch - Looks good and stows away efficiently, without taking too much space on the counter The not so good: - Cleaning is necessary after every use. We've cooked chicken drumsticks and a sausage/vegetable assortment and there was grease residue all over the inside, especially on the top side and on the top heater elements. Cleaning is relatively easy to do, I was using Clorox degreasing wipes and went through about 5 before the inside was decently clean. Some parts cannot be cleaned, like the bottom heating elements. There is no easy way to remove the metal covers to get to them for cleaning. We got some grease on ours the first time we made chicken because we didn't install the bottom grease catch pan. Definitely use that. - Cook times are slightly off in the booklet they provide. They said 30-35 minutes for drumsticks at 400F (Air Fry) but in my experience they need at least 10 more minutes otherwise the inside will not be cooked. You will also need ti flip the chicken halfway through otherwise the bottom will not cook properly. We used WallyWorld chicken, so your results may vary. -The anti stick pan will warp at 400F. It goes back to its normal dimensions after it's taken out of the fryer Overall we are very happy with this fryer and will be using a lot in the future. It is very fast, the food is delicious (once you figure out the cooking time) and healthy.

I am so incredibly happy with this Ninja oven. I have used air fryers before, but felt limited with their small baskets to cook for my family. But, the convenience, short cooking time and ease of clean up encouraged me to try this ninja. You guys! It is amazing. I am so impressed. 1st, by the different cooking tools they ship with this. There's a mesh tray (for fried okra or chicken) there's a nonstick tray (for pizza or veggies) there's a slide in tray for nonstick tray to sit on. There's a crumb tray to catch all the excess. 2nd, The interface is simple to use. I read the directions, but honestly, it's laid out so easy. You could figure it out even without reading them. 3rd. It cooks without any off scent. This is the main problem I had with other air fryer. It reeked when cooking. No off smell with this. 4th.This unit is bigger! I can actually make enough for my big family!! It's footprint is bigger, but it lifts up to store in a vertical position. Then automatically locks into place to store it. Also- •There is also an interior light. Kids have loved peering in to look at goods. •After cooking, this ninja automatically keeps everything warm too. •its wise to wipe the glass and everything down after every time this is used. • after you are done cooking, you can hear the fan for almost 10 minutes as unit cools down. •there is a cord keeper on back. So...hello tidy! •the front completely opens to clean it I took some pics of entire unit and the size of it. Also, of the most amazing pizza I have ever made! The crust was so crisp and perfect. My kids and I agreed, it was the best!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I currently own several other Ninja products ssdi when I had the opportunity to try this new one I jumped on it. This unit is extremely versatile and doesn't let down. From the box you get the main unit, crumb tray to line the bottom, wire rack for toast, bagels and holding the sheet pan or other accessories, a non stick sheet pan and an air fry basket. It has 8 basic preset functions: Air fry, Air roast, Air broil, Bake, Dehydrate, Keep warm, Toast and Bagel which times and temperatures ate customizable. There's also an internal light so you can see how things are going inside. The pros: Completely customizable settings Far more cooking space than most fryers Glass window to view cooking instead of constantly opening the fryer Powerful 1800w of power means fast cooking A full healthy meal in one pan on an average of 25min. Flips up and out of the way giving back counter space. Sleek stainless steel and black housing looks great. Cons: Because of the rack system there is a limit of height, where other smaller units are deeper and can accommodate larger items.
